Hi

May I know which car tinting brand do you guys use for the Almera?

I was planning for VKool Elite but spoke to the sales person at VKool and Garmin, the GPS and the bulky Smart Tag ( old type ) might not work/read. Suggestion given was make a hole specially for the GPS and Smart Tag. What about the Nissan Built In GPS?

Any advice?

HAAAIZ...already included in coz the SA say if we install ourselves will void the whole warranty..

if the reverse camera and player also got problem with VKool Elite...then what's the brand that would suite the Almera and the heat rejection...

why does everyone get auto-lock?? is it a must?? the new 2014 batch doesnt comes with it?

Almera Pros

1. Cheaper than Honda City ( coz highest spec = City S/S+ ) so u get auto air conditioner instead of manual version, push start button thingy... n etc
2. Easier to get the car (faster than Honda City) no long wait
3. More cash rebate compared to City (RM1k) [ can save for other accessories / bodykit / navi packages to beautify the car ]

Almera Cons

1. Less Airbags compared to Honda City's highest one (6 air bags)
2. Accessories interior loss to Honda City ( no 6 power socket )
3. Design??
4. Small glove compartment


reading other reviews out there... both are under-powered 1.5 cars but both have huge legrooms seats it's up to u in the end of the day

Guys, need your advice.

I collected my car yesterday but I am having problem like some of the owners do. My exhaust pipe is making that noisy sound. My SA even had a cheek to say he told me of this problem and it is normal for Almera car. I have made an appointment tomorrow at TC Service Centre Klang on this matter. What should I tell them?

My SA warned me that I have to becareful with the tint installing and ensure the installer not to over use the shampoo/water that might hit the dash box or side window power. One of his SA client had to pay RM8K to replace the spoiled digital box in front ( no warranty ) due to the excess tint shampoo water. I am doing mine tomorrow. Haaizz...anyone facing this problem?

anyone can recommend me where to get arm rest for almera? prefer around klang / subang... and what is the price range?
