Is almera a good car? I test drive yesterday and found it to be quite smooth and comfortable. Particularly the engine noise is low except when I rev. I have no complain generally except felt that it is underpowered when going uphill.

with the current promo and the dirt cheap price of E, i don't think any other foreign cars can match it. but yeah the power isn't there, but if u r getting it for family car, definitely get it

No I am not getting it as a family car. I just came out to work so my dad will be my guarantor. I regret I didn't refer to this forum before I process the loan application. I hope the fuel consumption isn't that bad as people say here.

So this will be my first self-owned car. Before this my dad just bought second hand getz and 2000 Camry for me to drive. Camry is ok, running gas btw, but it is too Damn big for me to handle.

As the car under 70k, I don't expect racing performance. The nismo body kit is also nice and yeah I am getting the E spec. As for the horsepower, maybe go mod air filter and stuffs after the warranty. I was opting for satria neo, myvi or iriz. But my dad say better get almera as nissan is famous for engine reliability and it is a Japanese brand too. Other choice now is mitsubishi attracted or suzuki swift. So, I don't know. Any comment?

u mean attrage? I heard that car review doesn't look that good at all.

But depends on you, if u want a smaller size (B seg) car, go for myvi/iriz/swift. for me, i prefer bigger as not only as family car, imagine when u wanna fetch your friends/siblings/relatives they will be very comfy at the back.

For me, I was choosing Kia Rio (B seg too), almera, and city. City too exp, Rio kinda small, so in the end i just choose almera.

my mom has a 2012 vios, i felt like vios pick up is much better, if i mod the air filter and stuffs (speedwork package) then the power should improve right? of course i will only mod after the warranty. generally, i have no complain at all about the almera, just the pick up.

Just installed stiff rings at the front. Will definitely install at the rear next month.

First impression: the steering is heavier, stiffer, better feel to drive, I don't feel like driving a toy car anymore. Passing speed bump and cornering is steadier. No regrets.

how much did it cost u?

310 for front, next time rear will be 170. 480 in total for the whole car. Totally worth it if you ask me.

will it not void warranty?

To be honest, I am not sure. I have not inquire Sc. But the mech assured me the warranty won't void because many other almera also installed it He said.
