got some queries on fuel consumption for my almera.

mileage - about 30,000 +

FC on ron 95 (rm2.10) - RM65-68 for full tank. Can bring me 320-330km then the REFILL PLS indicator comes on.

9.1l/100km. Average calculations are 20cents/km

so bad FC ? what about u guys?

70% city 30 % highway

mine aso. around 8.9 - 9.3 city.

for higway, kl to jb best aso around 6.3.

im light foot driving.

maybe we din opt for hospower or octane booster ?  that is y fc is bad ?

maybe next time i try to take those booster n see if got improvement ?

for me almera really not a fuel saving car. fc similar to my 3 years old saga fl.

for comparison, my another new vios can do 6.8-7.1 city drive. 5.1-5.3 highway.
*
I dont think my friend opted for those booster but manage to get 7.1l/100km.

I even drove to cameron highlands before and dont rmb clocking good mileage.. probably 400+ on full tank. I expected way more if i was on hway..

I love my almera except my fuel consumption is bad. Other than that, this car is the best bang for the buck.

Comfort. Quiet. Sturdy.

Better nvh than accord yo

current milage = 36k
FC = 11.2 - 11.6km/L average
commute from mainland to island Penang everyday

anyway i never opt for any octane booster. for me all those are rubbish.

i am quite satisfy with current FC. not the best of course but good enough
*
Converted mine. Abt 10.9km/L

Not very satisfied. Can be better.

Whats your l/100km? Mines standing at 9.1L/100km. cry.gif

for that reading in meter, you will need to occasionally reset it .
i think its not very accurate.
mine reading is 7.6 to 8.5L/100km
*
Yeah. I haven't reset mine before. Shall attempt in a bit.

Regular maintenance as prescribed by the vehicle owner's manual will help your vehicle achieve its best fuel economy. Some overlooked maintenance items, such as a dirty air filter and under-inflated tires, can increase your fuel cost up to 13%. smile.gif

may i know what is the reason that you chose almera rather than other car because my frenz offer me for staff discount.

btw......i wana choose carefully because this is my 1st car.
*
Cheapest for this range.

Nissan has really good nvh. (Noise, vibration, harshness). Good as in, it has low noise, low vibration, not so harsh.

Car feels solid abd sturdy. Hardly a rattle when i drive.

Maintenance wont be too high vs vios (toyota is known to be exp, even for a vios)

Honda quality has dropped tremendously. It isnt a honda anymore.

Last but not least, nissan's pretty reliable.

May I ask bout ur 4 doors when closing the sound are they different? I went to the showroom and the front doors closing sound are firmer than the rear ones? the rear ones sound 'cheap' and empty
*
Didnt quite notice the diff, but now that u mentioned it, yeah, thr front sounds slightly more solid than the rear.

Just did my 1000km service last Saturday, I told the SA alignment pull to left a bit, as him to adjust.
But after they adjusted, pull even more to left, worse than before. ...haiz
