Just booked an Almera today after 10 years of consideration.

Originally was Navi package or RM3000 rebates.

After talk talk and abit reluctant, the lady boss came downstair and offered me the best rates I can find in market so far lol.

I was in a huge dilemma picking between City and Almera with the constant annoyance from my fiancee.

For the windows tint part, I believe it is the SA personal offer as it will be done outside. For the brand wise, I told her I will pick on my own instead of default one, which mean I will top up the cost of the upgrade. The default one I only know it's worth around RM500+ with 5 years warranty. Will get more details when loan is approved and car is ready.

I only loan RM60k for the 1.5E(A) + body kit. Trade in 1999 Potong Saga 1.5A for RM5000. That one also they overtrade-in the price by RM1000 compared to second hand dealer outside.

Surprisingly this time, I only managed to find JB have higher discount compared to KL.

She's the one that told me to buy for E spec, and if anything happen to her, I can go find a new wife.

Bro, can you tell me what OBD port is Almeowra using?

The OBD display will have wiring making it ugly right since it came from downside of steering there?

How many port was there?

Was planning to insert in a speed lock as well.

I did check around, even Googling doesn't seems to have a complete information.

Just went to sign my loan today

My car was already ready at the showroom, Monday some more public holiday. Need to wait them submit back to bank first , and also trade in my car need 1 day to send to Puspakom for inspection.

Car reached too fast also feel sad.

About 2 weeks as well including of waiting for loan, my loan got complicated a bit as I got 2 house commitment with my current salary.

So it took about a week for loan. 3 days for car to reach the showroom from KL. Which is about today.

SA already secured my car plate no as well. Picked a 1337 plate number for RM250.

Haih, have JPJ fixed their system yet?

Don't know this week can get my car or not. I think only left road tax application.

I'm very very pissed off today.

Supposed to get my car today after JPJ issue road tax as I need to go down to KL today.

So I called my SA, to ask the runner my application put at which counter at JPJ yesterday so I can trace it and check the status.

The SA replied "Runner doesn't like us to ask that kind of question, later he will angry because he thought we don't trust him"

I was like, dafuq? Give me the number of runner, I'll handle myself.

SA refused to give number as I waited 30 minutes in JPJ waiting for reply. Call doesn't pick up either as she was in the bank.

After that, she told me, there's an error in the document as chassis number of car is wrong.

I was already a little bit pissed off, but she told me that document can be rectified immediately, so I can go JPJ and settle it myself today. So I'm okay.

After 5 minutes, I get call from SA, she told me that my car chassis number is duplicated with another car. So it become much more complicated as more processing needed apparently all the way to Kastam.

Now I don't have a fu*king car to get down to KL to sign my fu*king house contract. All plan is fu*cked up.

How can they mess something as simple as that?

I signed my loan just last Monday. So it's about 4 days. But that's not about it.

If everything proceed correctly, the car should be ready by today. I've told her that make sure it's before Saturday 14th Dec as I've traded in my old car to them, and I currently do no have transport to go KL.

Just got call 20 minutes ago, my car is finally ready. I have no idea what's going on as she managed to get everything settled on Saturday.

I'll go collect awhile more, and bring it to tint shop first.

My car is back!

It is okay, the car is there a week ago. Just the processing take time. I already go check my car last time, it's purrfect apart from the fuel tank door which I'll get it settle on 1000km service.

I'll wash it again later evening, and coat it with Permanon so it would look blink blink for long time!

Do any of u encountered some sound like some metal smash into ur car , like a ptong sound. I dunno whether it's exhaust pipe or not, the sound only appear time to time when im driving around.

Drove for about 2 months now, with 5200km (not yet service 5k, will do tomorrow)

7.2l/100km. 60% highway 40% jam-f***** road.

I only added brake lock, speed lock, 4-point strutbar, double layer 4-door proofing, DIY the extra line around door for wind proofing, and added DIY absorber in the trunk.

Happy so far, I still feel my car kind of light when on high speed, that steering kind of @#! above 130kmh.
