QUOTE(ahchun @ Jan 13 2014, 03:39 PM) QUOTE(jonathansew @ Jan 13 2014, 04:24 PM) QUOTE(meowtaro @ Jan 13 2014, 04:29 PM) QUOTE(lunacy @ Jan 13 2014, 10:48 PM) allow me answer this klak klak issues. Thank you all for ur response...feel less worried gear at p klak. when u press break, it will release the p gear lock to release the gear enable you to change the gear knob from.p. when u on air con, especially cold start in morning. huge klak sound indicate opening air con vent valve. if no klak sound means kong. another issues i have is the petrol cap pull sometime not working. it doesnt release fully when pull. so it jam. need to press to lock the cap and pull again. kina annoying especially u worried pulling too hard will snap the cable. |

QUOTE(tiger_jack @ Jan 20 2014, 01:09 PM) when driving uphill, need to step on the accelerator or maybe shift the gear to L to have better acceleration. Try opinion no.2 from tbrking85 below...it really works...especially when driving uphill...QUOTE(tbrking85 @ Dec 26 2013, 02:48 PM) I have my Almera more than 1 year, and my mileage 46k++ currently, I just wanted to share out some experiences to u all to improve your almera condition: This post has been edited by naedia: Jan 20 2014, 03:19 PM1. TYRE ~ Normally i like to speed drive, 120 - 180km/h, that is no problem with unstable, lighter because i changed the original rubbish Continental CC1 outdated tyre to Bridgestone 185/60/15(made in Japan @ RM180/nos.). alignment and balancing goes very well.more accurate. 2. FUEL ~ I tried my car with some different petrol, i prefer BHP 2xinfinity is very suit to Almera, the sound from engine running very smooth & silent, Power of acceleration increase, top speed easy speed up from 100 to 160km/h ( but i din't border on the Fuel Consumption lol). Petronas, Shell - less power than bhp and noisy. Caltex - less power + noisy... ( not recommended on Almera) Petron - So so.... 3. Window Visor ~ I removed the window visor due to the sound when speeding. 4. Hand phone Charger ~ not recommend to use vehicle charger, it will slow down your speed (almera only, my gf's vios no problem with this). This only my opinion.... Thanks |

QUOTE(ahsam1212 @ Apr 11 2014, 01:31 PM) What r the problems encounter by almera owners here? Want to find out before making any decision. Any annoying noise, anything failed or major issue to take note? I quite like the interior room available and also it seems slightly higher ground clearance if compare to vios and city. QUOTE(JnJ6397 @ Apr 11 2014, 02:59 PM) so far for the car theres no problem but thr is a few thg u need to take note once u got de car. aircond noise when turn it on...normally happen when start car in the morning..- there will be some noise produce at exhaust tip whn u start ur car / accelerate - check on ur interior dashboard as there will b some noise will produce whn u driv thru uneven roads. - check on ur door pillar is thr any sound whn go thru uneven road. thats all from me as all this issue happens on me currently as 2 alrd settle n left 1 more cnt settle yet and will brg bk to SC to check again whn nex service...hehe... |

hi,
Do any of you have copy of Almera - Service Menu Price? They seem to "hide" the price at this moment. Show "Page is under construction process". It would be helpful to me and others later for comparison. Me going for 10k services soon. |
