guys sorry if this question has been asked before:

im going for my 1st car service and gonna report on few issues:
a. nissan logo on steering didn't stick well
b. dashboard when go over bumper got loud sound (even press on dashboard got those sound)
c. when press break (once awhile) got the very loud sound below

I was told by SA to go to chan show lin there but isn't Selayang branch better? (in terms of bigger space + equipment). wouldn't mind taking a day off to go service. please advice tq

i went to the one in glenmarie cuz its near my hse, they said if my FC problem still persist, they ask me go HQ, and he said its near PPUM.

 

u think it would make a diff if i were to bring my issue to HQ ? not sure if its worth the trip. my hse to HQ is... far...

Haha, not aware of the massive promotion given to VL before purchasing the car. Was looking around under 60k budget. MUV car attracted me because it's a test drive unit. I can request for past service records, which i asked my friend to check for me. He say no major service before, hence i bought it.
However, I'm still entitled for the 1 years warranty.
Hopefully everything that needs to break, break within a year. wahahahaha

20k for 2 years difference is indeed nothing spectacular.

Salesperson just called, will be doing the transfer this friday, can collect by afternoon.
Since it's 20k I've requested for the service record, since purchasing from muv will entitle you to a full service. Hopefully they'll replace the aircon filter for me so don't have to bear it.

I only go to SC if there's major problem or regular service. Just to solve the FC issue ? i think i will pass. Wasting time wake up early morning send car to the SC and solve nuts. Only can suggest you to keep complaining via email (which they normally attend by return email and call too) and complain during regular service.

PS: To all almera owners soon to be, don't just take my bad experience to influence your buying decision. It's still a SPACIOUS car to me (because i am a 6ft'er), and for that price offered, its really value for money. Just that I'm not as lucky as other almera owners here

My aircon friend did advised not to put temp to lowest as it would shorten the parts' lifespan.
