got something to ask here....
Does it mean that DDR2-800 will run at 400MHz FSB if no divider is used? meaning it is not only twice the frequency of the normal DDR400, but also twice the data rate per clock, since DDR2 is supposed to carry 2 times more data... which makes it 4 times more bandwidth compared to a DDR400?

QUOTE(soulfly @ Jun 21 2006, 03:49 PM) if a system is running with both FSB and DRAM in synchronous, the memory will run four times the speed of the FSB (actual speed). ex: Intel 200MHz FSB (800MHz quad pumped) : DDR2-800 = 1:1 for example, DDR2 PC6400 (DDR2-800)is supposed to run at 400MHz, so meaning if my FSB is overclocked to 400MHz, and with a 1:1 divider, the memory will also run at 400MHz, right?
