QUOTE(rockmaniac85 @ Jun 1 2007, 01:10 PM) lol, really thumbs up to this reply. i was reading this thread with so much concentration, and when i reached this reply, i really burst out laughing. lol. better get 2*1GB kit. better upgrade option in future. if want to OC, get a pair of cheapest D9GMH ddr667 ram. btw, shawty currently got some special promo for 2*1GB BALListix 800 kit, rm510 only.btw, a noob question here. my mobo is as shows in my sig, so i was thinking, is it better to get 2x1GB ddr2 800MHz rams, or get 4x512mb ddr2 800MHz ram? will it be the same, or there'll be performance difference? |

the only different between Micron D9GKX & Micron D9GMH i know is that they are binned at different speed and timing. D9GKX binned at DDR2 800 while D9GMH are binned at DDR2 533.
correct me if i'm wrong |

just to share some of my OC experience with Tracer 800. i'm able to run it at ddr900 4-4-4-8 at 1.8v lol.
play SupCom for hours without problem/crashes/restart, execute all Everest benchmark but always failed Orthos for some reason. |

that spd programming stuff is a bit silly. instead of hard setting the ram, better use BIOS setting. set too tight via spd and end up with silicon+chip bookmark
