Get the Teamgroup Value ram 667 . I think Shawty's doing a bulk on it. I think the current batch is D9.

QUOTE(soulfly @ Apr 13 2007, 01:44 PM) no it does not. Thanks for the info. i have check over the net this what i found of the Team Value rams.. It is infact D9DCN.so far the greatest Micron chips are D9Gxx ... hence GCT/GMX/GKX was the only one I have mentioned D9Hxx is a newer chip with higher density. D9HNH is overclockable but most of the time it is very average like typical Aeneon/Elpida. ![]() I was supprised that the D9DCN i bought can clock above 1000MHz... The Xtreem series is the one with the D9GMH. This post has been edited by intune: Apr 13 2007, 05:07 PM |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Apr 13 2007, 10:43 PM) Yes, the Team ValueRam 1GB PC2-5300 DDR667 is using Micron D9 chipset. ya it was damn high because auto on bios. But i manage to bring it down to 5-5-5-15 on memset in windows. But it's not Micron D9GKX D9GCT or D9GMH. It's using Micron D9DCN [Relabeled as Team Chipset] So far i've seen two users able to clock that ram to more than 500MHz [1GHz]. I myself bought that ram, and now waiting for my DFI Infinity P965-S board to arrive, when it arrive, i'll clock it to hell like you too. PS: Dude, your timing is damn high. You can at least set the timing to 5-5-5-15 So far this Team value is a bargain even though its not D9GMH..still it cant beat my trusty old Kingston KVR Hynix C4 |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Apr 13 2007, 11:19 PM) Hoii boss, i forgot to ask you one thing. Max Vdimm on my Biostar 965PT is 2.2. Thats what i use to get that speed. What's the vdimm that u use to clock your valueram to that speed? I'm thinking of pumping 2.5Volts to make my team valueram to reach 1GHz @ 4-4-4-12 So, what's the vdimm that u use to make your ram to reach that speed you're running right now? I remember my supplier telling me speed can go higher above 2.2 . Min 900Mhz he said. U test ler.. This post has been edited by intune: Apr 13 2007, 11:55 PM |

QUOTE(michealelsie @ Apr 25 2007, 09:55 PM) Hi all, I wanna ask something from u all pro here, wanna ask u all to help me compare the OC'bility of the 2 RAM here: Those are D9DCN.. I got a pair of pc5300 Value rams with D9DCN 1GB.1. Kingston DDR2 533MHz D9GMH chip 2. Team DDR2 667MHz (wat chip used i donno, but i got the pic) TEAM DDR2 667MHz pic ![]() I heard that my friend can goes up to 1200MHz with the TEAM RAM with DFI mobo.... so I wanna ask if I use the same DFI mobo or wat, which 1 have the higher OC'bility n more stable~ hope can get some answer from here soon thx managed to get 1020MHZ 5-5-5-15 I guess its a great value rams. no complains here. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Apr 26 2007, 09:34 AM) sorry but that is not D9DCN.... it looks like Aeneon I was told by the Team Supplier's it was Micron D9 Chipset.. D9DCN is rectangular-shaped Added on April 26, 2007, 9:35 am you can't go wrong with D9GMH no matter how suck the pcb is Also found this on the DDR2 chipset list.. Apparently Team doesnt use Aeneon. ![]() |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Apr 27 2007, 08:56 PM) integrated memory controller runs at the same speed as the cpu clockspeed What ever it is i think its really good value rams from results i got. just imagine an fsb running at 2.5ghz Added on April 27, 2007, 9:04 pm Since they don't use Aeneon... it could be Promos. Team can use any chips they want for their value RAM, any IC they have in their inventory. But I can assure you the pic of Team value posted by michealelsie, that is not D9DCN. And the ramlist link is just a guidance, they can change anytime. You can find how D9DCN exactly looks like if you dig XS forum deep enough. It's rectangular, not square.
