alright if its suggested 2.25V for your rams to run at that speed, then whats the drop on your Vdimm that is supplied on your Asus? U would always apply around 2.25V + 0.02V to be on a stable side of things.

i check with bios, the actual vdimm can be set to 2.26v, but still canot boot at ddr1066, it auto + 0.06vdimm to the vdimm we set at bios..

by the way, can anyone tell me the differences of behaviour between the following pairs

DDR2 = D9GMH and D9GKX
DDR3 = D9GTS and D9GTR

im not sure bout asus
but i usta have the same prob wit my gigabyte p35 ds3L
i cant use certain rams on it
i found out dat the mobo only supports certain ram
the ones under "qualified vendor list"


check with Asus's memory qualified vendor list

2.1 v bro..just try my luck by oc dis ram..i'm not sure is it single or double..coz i just trade with cOMMANDER pRASNTH ...suddenly n luckily dis is the result... but my proc cannot push anymore... just 2.9

yahh..i'm also shocked..i dun wan to push more voltage coz my fren use his balistix tracer n push till 2.2 n it burn.. ..pity him..then i just use 2.1..i dun do anything with amd,,just oc like usual

this gem is really hard to get cause no more d9gmh been manufactured by crucial anymore....

tested my KINGSTON DDR2-667 FPY-5 on MSI board 6X470 on E2160
RAM 1:1 devider @ 940Mhz at 2.4V.. result will post soon.. hope i get 1000Mhz later.. any guys able to make it 1kMHz?
