Most h/p RAM use D9GMH and D9GKX. Even the best are just handpick vers. of them.

Yea.. got some, but i think hard to find. Those chips are rare. Micron is wellknow and safer choice. But if u are looking for h/p RAMs then should be no prob, becoz most h/p RAM are very overclockable one. Dont see any reason u need to worry.
Added on March 23, 2007, 10:46 amHey guys.. after few weeks burn in, now my RAM can reach 1050MHz with 3-4-4-10 with 2.2vDimm. I think can go futher, but dint try yet. This post has been edited by yehlai: Mar 23 2007, 10:46 AM |

QUOTE(michealelsie @ Apr 26 2007, 09:55 AM) Yea, cont go wrong with D9GMH. Owned GMH and GKX b4. very overclockable with its tight lanterncy. But i will go for TEAM. The price is really cheap!! RM350 for 2GB only?? U get from lyp? |

QUOTE(michealelsie @ Apr 26 2007, 07:05 PM) yes...it is just a value ram....not those 2GB Kit~ In real life, the peformance difference between 1000MHz and 1200MHz speed is extremely small. Most time we will only notice it during benchmarking.does it really cheap??? my friend claimed tat he can OC up to 1200Mhz.....official website claimed that can up till 1000MHz..... but i do believe that D9 can do better, right yehlai? If.. QUOTE RM500 for Kingston DDR2 533MHz D9GMH chip 1GB*2 or RM350 for Team DDR2 667MHz 1GB*2 I will choose Team over Kingston. currently Kingston value only cost about RM150 for 1GB. Tht means u are paying RM100 extra for tht D9 chips. Thts not a reasonable price. On the other hand, Team RAM is not bad thou, we also can find D9s on them, and u also know its quite overclockable rite? So why spend more for something tht is over priced? Just my 2cents bro. QUOTE(superpc @ Jun 6 2007, 05:57 PM) hi guys, i hav jus changed into a DDR2 platform and get myself a crucial ballistix pc5300 from shawty Stable enuf to run Super PI 32M ? however, i cant even overclock the ram to be stable @ 800mhz 4-4-4-12 2T, i even tried 2.2V on tat timing n frequency, but it failed in memtest86 any idea wat could be the problem? issit because of i m using a Pentium D and not a core 2? other spec can refer to my signature thanks for any help, newbie in intel platform overclocking U also can try 4-5-5-12 or CL-5 timing for more stable o'c setup. |
