i disagree about being silly to buy 2*1GB... i think its peoples preference and what exactly the users purpose is to use the rams for.. If you cant utilize 2GB why move to 4GB. theres nothing pantsy about it.
*
Agree. On XP,2GB is more then good enough.I think XP is still the best os and suit my need well with a good benchmarking time,no need to jump bot first laugh.gif Look at all WR,i think none of them use vista other then 3dmark vantage as far as i know :hehe:And i can't even utilize 2GB fully with COD4 SP,Firefox 3,massanger,skype,utorrent running at the same time in XP sweat.gif

ProMOS is not available on 2GB stick.
ProMOS can only be found on 512MB & 1GB stick.

Thus, the Team Xtreem Dark DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB Kit is not using ProMOS.
*
I actually thought it is 2GB kit laugh.gif According to what i know, this kit can clock to DDR 2 1120+/- brows.gif

Well,it is depend on your luck laugh.gif
There are value ram with D9GMH which is really rare drool.gif
There are value ram with FPY5 Rev A which is not bad for C5(1200mhz should be doable but suicide lah brows.gif ) but bad in C4 biggrin.gif
There are also value ram with promos base chip which is average and should be able to do 1100mhz cl5
And there are crappy one which barely do 800mhz sweat.gif

so..my 960MHz OC for a 667Mhz ram is normal or not? i think i got the bad batch of the aeneon ram after seeing some people do >1000Mhz here. sad.gif
*
Try to run 5-5-5-12.Loosen trfc to about 50,should work as value ram is not bin for tight trd tongue.gif

tailoooo
higher than other rams dat are 800c4 or team xtreem's 800 rams?
and how to know the bin?
hehehe....*sorry for the noob Q*
*
Don't really understand your first question sweat.gif
Bin is what the chip is bin for lor laugh.gif
You can see difference bin by reading review or testing it yourself as higher bin ram scale well with voltage and no need a lot of voltage to do high speed thumbup.gif
