Ashley Young has already passed his prime liao, now to me is just a waste of space because we don't have a proper left winger. His best days are already behind him and if you ask me, his wages does not justify his performance. He should be sold, wait..MUST.

Januzaj on the other hand, cannot be over-burdened. Talented as he may be, doesn't do too much to get away from his markers unlike Nani or Zaha. Januzaj ain't no showpony, which is a good thing. Our next poster boy  wub.gif Nani trying to hard to be Ronaldo, too bad he can't. Only thing better that Ronaldo is his double somersault  doh.gif

young is not a proper left winger, he is naturally right footed but can use both pretty well.

janu later get too much pressure to be the next giggs he will suffer like nani.

nani can join olympics gymnastics brows.gif

the likes of Young and Anderson are very expansive back up players. they are useful and decent back up but will hinder a progress of our youngster. i hope we can off load them sooner.

very +ve result last night. we are gaining some momentum now ahead of very crucial Nov /Dec.

Moyes simply want to win COC. the bench was also full with experience first teamer. hope we can avoid City /Chelsea in the last 8.

dont be too harsh...look at torres...he is reviving...i bet ando n young also can do sumthing...to get back where they shud be...tho ando with his pizza...look at taco guy...he need some tip from him maybe...lol...

on adnan...sure we want moyes to protect him n zaha...not to be over used...like big sam on ravel...he know at some stage he will hav to bench him or leave him out for rest...but...with that kind of display n form...moyes cant keep him out...all in all...i trust the coaching staff know how to handle it...phil surely know as he gone thru that stage when class of 92 unleash by saf...

the most exciting thing on adnan is...now we can hav the silky skill pace excitement that long lost since CR gone...we hav new magician...last time its rooney is the soul,CR is the magician...now...roon is still the soul,Adnan is the magician...just like CR when he arrived...he do his thing...no perasaan...nothing fazed or amazed him...just that...CR crybaby when getting a kick...this kid...just get up n running again...his 1st goal against sunderland mmg muka zzz...2nd goal volley winner...everyone chase after him...tho he keep his cool...tgk contoh borini derby winner celeb...adnan not that type...cant wait to see he score a couple more...
*
Tacof*g is already an exciting prospect when SAF bought him...already predicted for stardom... brows.gif

Zaha has that talent...just need to put it to good use...Giggs and others will nurture him just like what happened to CR...but Zaha needs to tell himself that he wants to be the best in the world...nothing comes easy and hard work and dedication is needed...just like CR...Anyone with flair traits has the potential to be special...just need to push themselves....

Why am I typing like you... zzzz doh.gif

young 1st season wt united so good.. wt our senior winger all not doing really well maybe we should kept him for now. at his form doubt anyone will wanna bought him either..

wt adnan doing so well playing as no 10 also i think kagawa more likely could be heading out if a good offer came. next few games i think could decide kagawa fate wt united.. do hope he stay

might not get a good price for him since his form is crappy now.
however, lets see in january what happens.
most likely there won't be any changes, probably they'll buy someone for the future or someone to plug a gap but not sell then buy replacement as that would send the wrong message to the others if moyes is trying to lead them as a family with team work -- chop and change transfers is for cut throat clubs.

agreed on the slump n high wages on young...but if moyes can squeeze him to get back to his 1st season form...it wud be fantastic...i wud say anyone from our squad will be in starting lineup in any other team in BPL...his injury n form doesnt help his confidence...but for me...from our winger dept...young is different type of winger compared to other senior winger...toni rely on speed n strong stance...nani pulse dribbling beat oppo...young on his best form...he carried the ball n take on oppo...something that i think we lack when all the forward hav make run to oppo defen line...if u look at stoke game where they defend deep...around the 80 minutes...chica rvp roon kags...all on defen bay...adnan do the dribbling on the right to send crosses...carrick sit in the middle try to pull string n open play...but got nowhere cos nobody try to bring the ball in n take on oppo in small space...the forward were static waiting for carrick to pull the string...and no to avail...it force roon n rvp to drop deep to make something...if young is in his best form...he can take on defender at ease...if he can apply it at times in the middle...it wud be great...it a dimension that we lacks in the middle...someone to take on oppo in the middle...ala cesc,modric,ramsey,wilshere,ozil...atm...carrick n afro more to simple passer n protect back 4 n winning ball...clev shud be the one explore it...ando can do it if he is back to his best...if moyesy can revive young...he can be similar to osman n pienaar...zaha hav a lil bit of young trait in dribbling...

all in all...i hope moyes squeeze the team potential to its max before let go some player...revive the player to their best...n the player need to step up as well...tho i think some quality can be add if available...

juz my 2 cent in the longkang...

Young did OK moving d ball around IMO, it's his final deliveries (which is d MOST important thing) that let d fans down... ohmy.gif

Options for LB
Evra
Buttner
Fabio

Options for LM
Young
Giggs
Nani
Janu
Zaha
Buttner

I'm guessing it is a wait-and-see game for Young as he is under pressure to perform due to the rise of Janu, with Zaha hot on his heels.
With Nani and Valencia the two favorites for the right side, its all the more reason Young should step up because other than Giggs and himself on the left, Moyes doesn't have confirm starters with experience there. Let's say Young leaves in January/August and Giggs finally retires in August -- that would mean a huge gaping hole on the left if Janu and Zaha don't step-up -- which is why in my mind Moyes is playing it safe and keep everyone together first and sprinkle their starts here and there so everyone gets ball time but probably with the caveat of them proving themselves on the training ground or previous match.

I don't ever see Buttner transforming into a LM/LW ala Bale, an option and of course for overlapping ala Evra but never a true midfielder. Thus, looking at Buttners style of play he has the raw materials to be groomed to a player similar in style to Evra/Cafu (attacking LB) from what I see he is fine going forward but he doesn't spring back half as fast as Evra and his defending and ball holding should improve -- we have conceded goals before due to Evra getting caught in possession too high up the pitch.

Thus I foresee this is the future if we don't buy anyone and everyone continues to grow at their current pace:

LB
Buttner (starter)
Fabio

LM
Janu (starter)
Zaha
Nani
Buttner

Really depends on the development of Buttner, if he doesn't make the cut then he has to be happy with a backup role or leave. With heavy suggestions we're going after an establish LB as Evra wants to retire at Monaco that could be the case as I don't see Buttner having enough time to close the gap to Evra's level of performance within this season from the current form I'm witnessing. However, the ball is round and like circumstances where Rafael had to mature quickly to cement his position on the right, who knows what circumstances might play out that forces Fabio to start 10 games in a row and suddenly bloom.

I don't think he is that impressive on his first year.... yes he scored a couple of goals but he had more drawbacks than good games..not worth the wages and transfer fee...

Agreed...not that impressive...but his finest form for us according to majoriti is during
1st season...cos i tot he is better when at villa in terms of dribble n delivery...now i see him folowing hargo path...not really clear from injury...in out...no consistent run in the side...

i think he thinks that that is where he should be playing because in so many games i have seen him leave his winger position, doesn't matter left or right to the middle doh.gif
