Well said. This season packs alot of surprises, especially with lesser known/smaller teams. Unpredictable season is better than a predictable one no? This is why BPL is interesting, you get shocks, celebrations and heart pumping moments which you don't really find in other leagues. Every team has their ups and downs.
It is not easy for someone to transition from an average team to one of the biggest clubs in world football. It will always require time and nerves containment, which some do not understand because they only want to see the winning part of the team. Every team will start from the bottom and slowly ease their way up again. Just like what Arsenal did. 8 years trophyless and no longer a trophy contender while most 'fans' were calling for Arsene to be sacked, the boards trusted him and look where is he now? At the summit of the league. Patience is virtue. Believe is important.
Some may say that Moyes inherited the champions of England and he should be winning. True that is a valid point. But what they cannot see is how are the players adapt to the gameplay and style that David Moyes wants after being conditioned to SAF's methods for years? Atmosphere is different too. I can see that Moyes is still working on the right formation/tactics that is best suited for MUFC. The requires time. Let's not forget that Moyes came in July. There isn't much time for him to get his things organized.
Next, transfer dealings. Blaming him for our bleak transfer window? Seriously? Moyes merely identify the players who he wants. Ed Woodward was in charge of the negotiations and dealings which he undermined or underestimated the value of players which lead to a miserable window. Don't get me started with the backroom changes. 'Don't fix what isn't broken'. Come on. Every manager who joins a club will definitely bring in his own staffs and people whom he trust and work well with. Jose Mourinho brought in his own staffs, AVB brought in his own staffs, Brenden Rodgers brought in his own staffs. What is the problem with that? Just because the Daily Mail brought up a silly article doesn't mean that it is true. David Moyes is THE manager. He decides what he wants and who he wants to bring in. Who are we to tell him who should he keep and who should he sack? Unless you are a majority shareholder of the club, we are nothing and have no rights to make comments. And that 'inexperienced' jibe? Avarm Grant was inexperienced too. Taking over from Jose was no easy feat. Brought Chelsea to the final of the UCL and battled us out until the end for the league title? Everyone starts from smaller clubs and progress into the big stage. There is no such thing as an instant success.
Everyone has the rights to sound their displeasure. As what most 'supporters' or 'fans' feel. No harm doing so but to criticize your manager by calling him names like 'monyet' is really overboard. This showed how immature and childish you are. 8 games into the season and already calling for the gaffer's head is not a good sign, for Moyes or anyone. He knows that he is in danger of losing the trust of the people. But calling him names is damn-right disrespectful, especially the one that was hand picked by the great SAF himself. There is a reason why Fergie chose him, not because he is Scottish but because Fergie sees a younger version of himself in Moyes. As the great man once said, 'Stand behind your manager'. What happened to that? You should be a ashamed of yourself for behaving that way. Sure we are concerned, everyone is. But trusting David Moyes is what we need to do right now. It is too early to throw in the towel, the gap between us and Arsenal is not very far apart. Let's not forget that there is another 30 games remaining, anything can happen. This is football.
One thing you should know is that, there is no such thing as an instant success. Peace.
