btw, just now my fren shaked it vigorously for few seconds..will this aggravates it even further??..

since u state ur comp cant detect ur zvm,
check this out @ HERE @ POST #4
after download extract it den run the 'fixup.cmd', delete ur zvm in device manager, unplug ur zvm, lastly restart ur comp den plug in ur zvm, after that u should be able to upgrade ur firmware now.

u can check ur current firmware by setting > information
download the lastest 1.61.01 firmware @ HERE
run it and click 'upgrade' to begin the upgrade.
u will get this:

the highlighted will show ur current firmware version. mine is 1.61.01.

the 'fixup' thinggy saved my zvm since i accidentally reloaded the firmware and my comp oso cant detect my zvm.

what is the equivalence of itrip for zen vision m?
mp3 transmitter?
i tried connecting my zvm to my new player thru usb cable , inside my car and it kept displaying 'reading'.

help?

Nope firmware upgrade will not clear your hdd

Just flashed to the new firmware. Data still inside. No noticeable change at all.

the thumbnails making speed for the new picture is damn fast now,
and the startup spped i juz feel abit different.

Anyone bought a ZEN VISION M lately ? can anyone confirm if the new batch is thinner than the older batch ?

BTW, you cant buy the 60gb anymore, its been taken off the worldwide creative site- so this can only mean 2 things
1) new slimmer version to be launched soon
2) creative will launch new models ! ?

u need to use mp3 transmitter which is a audio jack type...not usb type...not wonder it cant play any song..
i got a solution for you...u can set into the portable space mode which works like thumbdrive n plug into ur mp3 transmitter....

They dont work on mac
only support for windows

How much would a black 30GB model cost me now? And are the bundled earphones decent enough?
