I see bots as a win win situation.
-The players get level up easily. RO is very hard to level up.
-Items will be available easily, cheaper.
-Good economy, more money will be made in the market.
-Could concentrate more on hunting/group-hunting and PVP instead of busy level up.

I might join back RO if it is like the olden days, good community, lenient on bottng and not based on recent versions of RO. The recent version world is too big and too many classes. Redundant.

Server will start with old patch that's EP1 version 2003 .

You don't have to catch bots, just increase the exp like you said earlier. Then bots will be reduced automatically.

Bot from gameflier pov is indeed money-making
but from gaming pov, and your reason is no time, its just pure bollocks if u ask me.

RO could have lived much longer if it weren't for BOTS,
when you bot, virtual reality speed up few folds
players would be too strong, bosses would be too weak, leveling maps would be pointless..in other words 3/4 of a rpg game purpose is denied.
game developers would have to constantly come up with new patches to match players capability....sometimes releasing patches that isn't fully viable.
And at times developers are just to fedup with balance patch up, they create in balance patches and just toss it at us.

all online games are like that, takes time to grind, by right you should cheerish the virtual-journey-experience..all this small little factors are the supposed to be the enjoyable moments of the game to be derive by players.
watching how a swordmen/archers get taken down by lowlife zombies in the orc lord village is just  plain hilarious
and then watching how acolytes have to "berak keluar a tortoise cast time to revive a character" all this small factors...u guys will never know how to enjoy it

without bots, gameflier would have earn less definitely..but i believe the game would have live 2 fold longer.

bot happen because ppl are greedy.
WoW ppl bot for gold, even though gold can only buy cosmetic item which don't give PVE or PVP advantage.
bots are cancer to all games.
bots, make items useless, remember that rare item dropped for u ? makes u so excited, knowing u really the lucky one.

u obviously never hand leveled before at lv90+. at high level, 2% takes 1 hour.

stats and skills reset is good to sell. consider cosmetic items like dota/ToS. that will draw in the money.

spamming pots are only possible if u bot, since u have too much zeny.
for normal player, it will be impossible to pot so much.
oh yes, i had guild dungeons before. but at that time, my party were really bad, since all still low level.
ah yes, i am talking about during the first guild wars.
where most people were still low level and decided to bot since they got owned in guild wars.

The only fun think about RO is WOE and some MVP hunt. Other than that? Meh~

So having low exp rate, you may have quite a lot of players, but all of them is just casual happy go lucky kill porings type of players. When a few good guilds find no competition in the WOE, they will leave eventually. Might as well play good WOE private server.

You can bot to your hearts content in other private servers. Go and ask the Korean developers did they intend official server to use bots.
