U know I never managed to become monk because pay2play system. In fact I'm actually one of the first generation player. But left the server after the pay2play system implemented. And move on to Sakray server since tu saja server yg free. Masa tu besst sgt. Memang enjoy sgt erti MMORPG masa tu dapat party with live ppl going PPV, Emperium war, small party went to Glast Heim, annoying Priest at Prontera for Heal. Hahhaha..It's not the same when the bots came in.

yeah by the time pay2play system is implemented there still no 2-2 jobs. i managed to get my knight to around lv 70 at the time. i remember befriending an overleveled acolyte who is waiting for monk to be available before changing job. hes really in-character as whenever he's away instead of the standard afk msg he will put up AFE - away from earth (to meet ashura) chat msg. meditating sort of lol.

sakray is great and by the time 2-2 job is about to be implemented i ady got a thief ready and straight away change to rogue. once i was dominating pvp for a day cus pipu still dun rly know about the skill and i used backstab to kill high flee assassins that populates pvp at the time. too bad sakray server is put offline most of the time and then the server wipe came, taking my rogue away

In character guy is those who really know how to have fun. The game itself is a role play genre. You know once I'm an archer lvling at the pyramid lvl.2 where skeleton soldier hangout, theres a priest leveling there also. he kills and teleport. One time he kill a ss it drops a ss card, which is the most expensive card that time. He just teleport away, leaving the card behind (I think he's accidentally teleport). Then me and other several low level people rushed to the card and try to take it. But out of those people, I'm the luckiest one. i picked it up and use wing of fly to run away. Then bunch of ppl start to PM me. Lol that was hilarious.

man, stories like this makes me miss ro back in the days. vending pots for 5 zeny profit and acolytes selling warp for 1k zeny outside payon dungeon lol.

right now im playing on a new server (started 21june) low rates and no trans classes. they trying to be as classic as possible. so far its fun. everyone doesnt have gear and leeching is nerfed, so everyone pretty much parties. still low population though. hopefully it will grow.

lol had a similar story. was at pyramid lv 4 i think and someone killed a matyr, dropped a card and just leave. i was the only one left so i just picked it up thinking maybe its just a drainliar card or something. turn out it really is matyr card and its quite pricey as well. but since i was an agi knight and the card is pretty useful i just used it and it become my most prized posession. until i kena scam and lose it that is. ever since that happen i lost interest to continue playing that server. taught me a very valuable lesson not to be easily scammed ever again whether in game and even in real life.

Really? I'm sorry to hear that. That's so unfortunate. Mine never been scammed b4 maybe because I'm not popular and my char pretty useless. I play that server till it's officially closed. On the last day of that server, everyone just throw away their belongings. It's a sad day for all the players that day. Then that's the last day I played RO. Tried with private server after that but it was never been the same with the bots invasion. Now trying to find a installation file for standalone offline server just to play to strolling old memory. Wonder where to get?

yeah i was baited by an offer thats too good to be true and the guy cancelled and redo the trade multiple time and pulled a switcheroo at the end. pretty early use of the tactic so i have no clue at all. about installing offline servers, i have no idea. used to see them sold in shops selling pirated cds long time ago:P

some of my stories.

was walking in town (cant rmmber which already) when a guy came up and offered me thara frog card and he wanted around 30-40k. that timne the value was around 1 mil zeny. i looked at the guy only wearing straw hat and the circling glasses lol, feel pity. that time i was already millionare so i tell him go walk to prontera and sell can get 1 mil. that guy so happy so fast walk prontera lol.

and activities with few friends, buy branches(spawn monster), park in front of prontera and spawn monsters. fukken lol see newbie all die. sometimes few guys come want to be hero help kill, we already prepared and spawn more he also die LOL.
