Again it's depends on what you want. Below is what i think for GY A2 & HPY

1. A2
pros
- comfortable
- good dry grip & excellent wet grip
- thick rim protector
cons
- soft sidewall

2. HPY
pros
- harder sidewall
- good dry grip (A2 is slightly better on this department)
cons
- fast wear (considering both A2 & HPY has threadwear 300)
- louder than A2
- moderate wet grip

Conclusion:
1. if you want all rounder tyre, get A2
2. if you want good high speed (>90kph) cornering stability, don't mind the fast wear & noise, get HPY.

what with the sidewall? mind explain abit about the soft sidewall and cornering? im not a corner junkie, just a daily highway traveler to my & client's office.

im in the midst of changing my tyre.

my tyre workshop recommend me A2 tyre, Made in Germany.

should i go for it? quoted around RM480/donut.

Soft side wall flexes during cornering at high lateral g/speed thus it'll be unstable/having poor feedback to the driver.

If you're not a corner/touge(see ts's user name)/track junkie, sticking with the recommended gy eagle f1 a2 is more than sufficient

Nobody try Falken Azenis PT722?

I'm using a pair myself at the front, cheap and decent. Great dry grips, I've tried to land on water at around 80kmph, no hydroplaning and goes straight. You are able to feel the confidence.

Make a sharp U-turn on wet tarmac at roughly 50kmph, the front turns accurately and steering responded well enough.

Price @ Kota Bharu here, 380RM/pc for my Kia Forte 215/45/R17.
Will change the stock kumho later on, so noisy until the buzz got into my head.

This thread is talking about extreme summer performance tyre
Falken equivalent would be Azenis RT615K
