For those who are familiar with the battlefield series, are aware of the the specification requirements
you and your grandmother’s computers should be undoubtedly. Seriously, if Dice is going to release
the a new battlefield game every year, it would only be a matter of time before upgrading my PC would
become a care of my annual expenses(So much for future proof rclxms.gif ).

This is a guide for the user without the big bad GPU stuck at home with Intel's new torture method
called Intel HD. It's not a horrible GPU though, I wouldn't have been benchmarking this game.
We later on played the Battlefield 4 beta to analyze its performance.

This is the RIG used for the benchmarks below:

Lenovo Ideapad Y410p
-i7-4700MQ
-Intel HD 4600 clocked at 780 Mhz
-8gb DDR3 RAM
-1 TB HDD

Here are the benchmark results we recorded during the alpha gameplay (fps)

Low (1024x768)
MIN:20
AVG:28
MAX:48

Medium (1024x768)
MIN:18
AVG:25
MAX:30

HIGH(1024x768)
MIN:12
AVG:17
MAX:25

Ultra(1024x768)
MIN:10
AVG:14
MAX:20

The gameplay can be viewed here:

Verdict:PLAYABLE

Even though the Intel HD is a flimsy competitor compared to any other graphics card in the market,
it does the job on some games. Surprisingly, it can play battlefield 4 at a playable framerate on the
lowest settings. One would be dreaming to play the beta on ultra in 1080p, but for the low cost gamer, this serves as a "temporary solution".
