Spurs are losing 2-0 at the moment. Good for us, now let's hoping Steve Clark do some magic and drops some of the Arsenal points

Nail biting stuff last night...but I guess the subs paid off....although there's a certain period where the game is hanging by the balance...it's more like do or die when Jose made the changes. In the end...great win and great strike from Willian.

I hope from now on Willian will keep on shining. Then I can say that's what we're paying for 30mil.

Remember he terrorized us while he was in Shakhtar?

Norwich played quite well in the second half, when kept coming at us until they got the equalizer. Hazard & Will's goal, both very very sedap happy.gif

started the second half with no motivation, no winning mentality. 1 goals up didn't secure the team a win. Right until 1-1, then only the team got the wake up call, classic counter attack for the team, great shot from Hazard, even better from Willian.

The team scare the fans! oh oh oh....

I hate the stadium, don't know who design such a stadium. The sun rise and set from east to west, it never change, but why still ppl design the end to end of field from east to west? The sunshine just too shine for goalkeeper to open their eyes. That was the reason why Norwich conceded their first goal and Chelsea conceded the goal too. Consider this as tactics?

Could be one of the tactics...especially when kicking off at lunch time. I think Anfield also the same thing......

norwich has no answer when we flooded the midfield. againts pacey team we might get expose with just 3 defenders at the back and we are defending quite high line. nevertheless, if we can absorb the pressure we will prevail.

Great win guys!!!! Even though we didn't have the best game in the world... but two quick goals out of nothing... that shows the quality of the players.... they just need to be polish further to shine more. International break ahead... most of our players will be included in the friendly or qualifiers... but for those who stay behind will have more time with Mou and can adapt better... KTBFFH!!!

invisible because of his new role now. he's not box to box player he used to be, plus there's 3 players behind striker.
norwich game, he did contribute with his accurate long ball.

Lampard should play like Carrick, he is slow but his passing accuracy and vision top in the bpl.
The attacking midfielders must be hungry to score goals, shoot shoot shoot.

yes, lampard is playing a different role now thats why he seemed to be invisible but overall he is contributing especially in defence

if you realise in our last match against norwich, when we're up to 3-1 and there were only few minutes left, he did went forward hoping for those 'being at the right place at the right time' goal.

I think it's typo by writer. Should be Roberto Mancini. tongue.gif

He seems to be good. Last season he did quite well in UCL games, but i doubt he is a player capable of being a top player. If he really is that good, 28 years old he should be playing in some top European league already, why still in Galatasaray? smile.gif

If not mistaken, he wasn't. Only Mata have been recalled to La Roja from our club. He somehow managed to hang on to his place before, with Negredo's current form, Torres has something to worry about..

Back to what my uncle told me, if strikers want to score, they can go anywhere but Chelsea.

All other positions can manage to grab goals but not striker.... But our strikers do perform on big occasion... look a Drogba. Most of the goals are important ones.... usually during finals... also Torres does make an impact in big games... our strikers really need goals now....

I have always been a Chelsea fan, I like the players and the tactic, and I think Chelsea have a strong aura around them.
The dynamicism in their play, and the players emotion&reaction fascinate me.
I like to see their fighting spirit, to do everything they can to win the title, to win every ball, to score lots of goal, to run until they pass out, and that's the reason I watch football.

Does your statement testify that Chelsea is a different team than the other teams?

Nevertheless, I appreciate your effort in trying to describe your feelings.

I'll only admit Arsenal is finally a contender after they meet Everton and United.

I don't mean to brag... But we seriously have the best manager in the league! Mou saved us in these 2 matches! We will need his magic against City!

very good victory against a tough and organized side. Etoo goal was a reminiscent of former himself..Hazard brace was typical Hazard..Oscar goal was classic and put the cherry on top.

Now back to 2nd spot. JM, what a brave man to take huge risk subbing out a LB for a striker..

Our skipper is really back on track. I was actually convinced by the FSW that JT's time is ending.

Solid defensively, great passing even initiated some counters, and of course very dangerous during set pieces.

good win, finally our striker scores in bpl. but imo eto'o should have finished it when hazard passed the ball to him (after he stole the ball from keeper)... luckily hazard converted it.

luiz, what a mistake to concede that goal... jose will not tolerate mistakes like this. guess he will be given a 'hair dryer' treatment? tongue.gif

I dont think Luiz..the media will definitely put the blame on him..the direction of terry pass and the speed of the ball is not for Luiz..but for Cech..but Cech stand still..Luiz..move across to be ready and take the ball after Cech...

conclusion...misunderstanding.. biggrin.gif

It should be luiz fault. Naturally he shouldnt run away from the ball, his intention clearly to let Cech grab the ball, normally a defender will shield the ball until it reach the goalkeeper.

So it was clearly Luiz miscalculation.

I think it is definitely miscommunication between Luiz and Cech.

Cech expect Luiz which is nearer to the ball to intercept and move on. While Luiz expect Cech to be running out to catch the pass.

Just hope Luiz will be more mature as a defender under Mou. thumbup.gif

Ball wasn't coming fast enough, and Cech wasn't close enough. Luiz made the call, poor judgement by him.

But it didn't cost him this time. The team is getting more united(small letter u) in spirit. Glad to see that. Cannot say much about the game as I couldn't get a smooth stream to watch.

Now we must start to dominate games from the get go and not concede the first goal.

Schalke next. KTBFFH!!

Cole what injury eh? Will be sidelined for how long?

I think we have enough cover for Cole. Bertrand should be direct replacement. Even if Mou feel Bertrand is not up to par, he can play Azpi at left back. Even if he plays Iva at left back also I feel secure. thumbup.gif

Iva have been poor last game.. bad cross and always leaving too many space, he only did good when he came inside to cover luiz.. should let Azpi play and let Iva go back to CD.

Azpi looks a little shaky. Looks like Schalke tactic to attack that side more with their fullback and midfielder.

So far Oscar and Hazard been quiet

SB-Basel 1-1, woots!!

It's always hard with a feeder team in the group, but glad they manage to hold Basel.

Damn, our defence had a busy night. Oscar assist for second goal gooding mang. Pace, strength and of course the correct pass.

Torres is able to perform well in UCL games because our opponents usually try to enforce themselves into the game, instead of being more conservative like quite a number of teams in PL. This allows both teams to attack each other. So whoever comes out on top in the battle of defences and attack gets the result(also our early goal helped in that favour). In PL, even with piling pressure, we won't be able to effectively convert our play to chances unless we already leading.

That is the price of being a Chelsea fan. I take a boring game with 3 points in the bag rather than flamboyance ending up falling face first flat on the floor just like... Ahem ahem... Arsenal.

The diagonal run by torres is gooding also..it gives more space for hazat to drift wider before take the shot to the spaces 'created' by torres.

So this week v city...however i think better starts with eto'o coz torres have this tendency of getting unnecessary yellow or red during big games hahah

Although i never really expressed any comments or felt that way regarding Sturridge in that manner, I have to admit it would have been great if he managed to get similar results with us. But sometimes it just wasn't meant to be, so he moved on, and I'm happy for him for being successful(as long he doesn't cost us any trophies tongue.gif).

Sturridge has learnt a lot during his chelsea time.
He proved it at Liverpool by not being so selfish.. but he still selfish anyway.

Yea its good for us that Sturridge managed to do well with us and able to gel in almost immediately, and as for his selfishness, I am ok if a striker being selfish once a while, as long as he could bring a good result for us.

As for Moses, yea he is as selfish as Sturridge, but as a wing/AM, IMO he shouldn't be too selfish..to be honest, I am not really impress with this lad.

Btw, it seems that Torres is doing well in the European level! rclxms.gif

Well. In my opinion, Sturridge just needed time. If he could have been patient in Chelsea last time. Now he would have been one of out 3 main strikers. We might not even need to sign Eto.

But then, Sturridge has always had the desire to play as out-and-out striker. During that time, the managers kept playing Sturridge as winger. So leaving was his best option. With his age, it's normal for him to seek for regular football and playing in his best position. Can't blame him.

I think Sturridge plays the best as an out-and-out striker. Just look his time in Liverpool. He is someone that needs a striker partner. He links up well with Suarez. Just imagine if he had stayed with us and our striker partnership is Sturridge and Lukaku!!! thumbup.gif

On another note, seems like Mou is pushing Roman to spend the cash to trigger Atletico Madrid's Brazillian hitman Diego Costa's release clause. hmm.gif

Wonder what tactics will jose deploy tonight..counter-attacking would suit us i think.city's defense hasn't been secure lately.down to kompany's absence i guess.hard to call this one, but a narrow win would do just fine.

Has schurrle recovered?seemed to be icing his ankle after the schalke match.

Guys. Line up prediction? Mine would be
-------------Cech-----------
Azpi---Cahill---Terry---Iva
-------Ram----Lamps-----
Schurrle----Oscar----Hazard
-----------Torres----------

Prediction: Chelsea winning 3-2. Definitely a red card. And Torres to bag the winning goal and again proving he is up to par. thumbup.gif

Wow...Demichelis' first game in the EPL. It's a good weak point no? Chelsea's attacker can show him how attacks are done in the EPL.

Judging by Man City's formation. They are a bit defensive minded eh. Only 1 striker in Aguero. Usually they play Negredo with Aguero....Seems like Man City playing possession game with the trio of Garcia, Toure and Fernandinho in the middle. hmm.gif

Aguero, Silve and Toure definitely a big threat. Not to mention they have fine strikers in Dzeko (super sub) and Negredo, both very superb.

Looking forward! KTBFFH!

MC with only 1 striker? interesting.

But don't be fooled. This just gives Yaya more freedom. (Anus prepared just in case).

I'm guessing Schrulle,Hazard and Torres going to be isolated from midfield coz Oscar will dropping deeper to match MC's mid 3. The problem comes when we want to counter, without Mata, attack and mid seem disjointed. It was similar to another game, where only after Mata came on, our counter attacks become more productive.

Torres! Torres! Torres!

Call me arrogant, I don't give a flying damn what others say.

Torres's scored that one.

When he missed his 1st chance I was like "Oh no, no way he can bounce back from that again, no human can."

Boy was I wrong!

From 2nd half onward, very apparent that we are playing for a draw. And surprisingly, city also did not commit themselves more after aguero wonder strike.

The goal was a gift. But then this is a very big win. Arsenal next!

Yes our cursed months. But with...

a) Mou's tactical genius

b) Hazard's magical flair

c) Oscar's brilliance

d) Terry's leadership

e) Cech's GK skills

f) *I am happiest to say this*... Fernando Torres!

Before the first goal, City's passing game is quite delightful to watch.
I noticed our attacking players, they tend to be at the edge of the defenders whenever lamps or ramires is getting forward with the ball. Hence nobody is really there to receive the pass in the middle area.

To be honest i think hazard and oscar wasnt really effective in this match. i really think Torres deserve all the praise for this match. Its due to him we managed to unlock City's defense. Great body strengh and speed from him today. His work rate was +9999999

Great win.

P/s n ivanovic managed to ole someone. I dunno who biggrin.gif

I personally believe that Rami deserves a share amount of credit given to Torres. He's everywhere on the pitch running tirelessly. He's the reason why Yaya Toure were keep quite last nite. On top of that, the cross that Torres got blunder was a delicate, especially for someone who claimed lack of technical ability

Great win guys... 3 points in the bag... Mou's impressive record at the Bridge continues....

But to be fair... City had the upper hand when they are attacking.... their midfield distribute the ball quickly and neatly (minus Fernandinho who's long pass is too powerful...) Yaya, Silva and Garcia is bossing the midfield when they are attacking.... Oscar seems lost... Schurlle did nothing except for the goal... He's trying too hard to get past defenders but most of the time failed....

Our midfield lacks creativity... Mata's creativity is surely missed.... The only positive note for us is Torres's confident boost... Boy, it's a joy to watch when he is on form... too bad the crossbar denied him.... But the old problem remains... he tried to dribble too much... most of the time all his dribble was tackled easily by the defenders.... Zabaleta was solid yesterday... non of the attack from the left flank is effective...

the vulnerability of city is at Clichy... he looked slow and tired... Nando pass him so easily and setup the first goal.... Mou should have asked the player to bombard the right hand flank.... but nothing happened... only Iva is running forward but his crosses is super poor.... always doesn't pass the first defender....

A poor game by us... but the persistent of Torres, we won the game.... lucky he struck into a empty net this time... imagine the horror if he missed again....

Lampard and Ramires were top notch. To be honest I wasn't confident in our pivot before the game but both of them did their job to nullify City attack. Job done!

Mourinho deserves credits too! His subs are perfect, we managed to hold on the pressure from City in the second half and eventually got the winning goal. Personally I think the Mikel, Eto'o and Willian introduction are very important to our victory. Lampard and Ramires were both on yellow card and we were in trouble but Mourinho was aware of this and he introduced Mikel. Then we are able to control the game again.

bro i think so too! schurrle lost the ball often and not really get past anyone, and hazard often dilly dying on the ball until all defender got back, then he made his move. oscar was... and i was hoping mata to sub on only that to read this morning that he didin't even made it to the bench sad.gif

I don't think Lamps do that well. He was ok.
Few of his runs causes us to lose posession to a fast counter attack. but that is only my opinion. biggrin.gif

If u look at the replay, the defender just focus at the ball.so can say that no communication between them on the last goal.

On the other hand, yes i do agree with some of u here.city pass, creativity and attack are far more dangerous than ours last night.i got anxious when they get the ball.when we attack,we not as smooth as them.they are way more organize than us.

Mou need to do something about this and im sure he currently doing it right now smile.gif

very true bro... Hazard is holding to the ball too long... Lampard to me is below average... he is way better than that... he is overshadowed by Yaya the whole game... although Yaya was kept quiet, his partner in crime Silva and Nasri is doing well... feel relieve the moment Pelligrini sub Nasri out... Aguero as usual is tearing the defense apart with his quick thinking and quick feet... The goal he scored took Cech by surprise because never expect he will shoot on his weaker foot... but my, did he let one fly.... all happened in a flash... Jon Champion did commented that Cech should not be beaten at that distance.... he should stay alert more...

Just watched the highlight. Torres seems to be on fayahhh! If the far post shot was not denied by the bar, it could've been the contender for goal of the season!

After watching all the highlights, I feel that our striker is still not lethal enough. Torres needs few more run of goals and games. With a few goals under his belt, he will fire in all cylinders.

And it seems like Mou trust Cahill more compared to Luiz when it comes to the big games. thumbup.gif

What cup is it eh? FA or carling cup? I think Wenger will keep his policy of just playing youth players in domestic cup competition. brows.gif

Carling..

I dont think so..I think Arsenal will go all out..a very strong side...this probably the season that they want to win something and end the trophy less streak...

even Mou think that this season will be different..

Yeah, his eyes is definitely on the BPL now after 8 years without the trophy....this might be their year, but they have not really played any of the top 4 yet aside from Spurs, so after their matches with City, MU, Liverpool and us then we will see how's their title credentials.

We were pretty quiet in the first 25-30 minutes in the first half.....and City have a lion's share of possession....but the sudden ignition from Torres did the trick. Rami and Lamps are doing ok at the pivot, but missed those crazy runs from Rami during the match, after the introduction of Mikel...he seemed to be able to move forward a little.

I rmb ppl saying last season's epl is the most open one yet. But to me, this season's epl title race is the most open. Without SAF, it can be Mou's time, Wenger's time, AVB's time or Rodger's time. thumbup.gif

Arsenal next fixtures :

1. Chelsea (H)
2. Liverpool (H)
3. Dortmund (A)
4. M.United (A)
5. Soton (H)

I reckon they wouldn't take things too seriously against us in COC. Some key players in the likes of Ozil, Giroud, Ramsey probably will get rested. Hence, i think it's the best time to rest some of ours too. Mata, KDB, Essien should getting a notch in this one

What do you guys think our starting lineup against Arsenal will be?
Considering that we played a really strong lineup against City, Mata will be a definite start.

Given the fact we startsed the season quite strong( 2pts behind leader) i approve if Mou use weaker side

Schwarzer
azpi luiz cahill bertrand
Rami obi mata
willian eto hazat/oscar

kdb coming from bench...

Next PL v newcastle pulak...away. not easy. And a must win vs schalke at home to cement our place for next round. Crucial

Why rami over essien? I think essien lacks competitive match finess now..maybe can sub in 2nd half for rami

Why hazat/oscar over kdb...coz i think it is not ideal to break the whole structure of the team and suddenly assembles them like lego..just not good.

To be honest, I think Ba needs the to start the Carling Cup more than Torres or Eto. He has yet to open his scoring for this season right? If i'm not mistaken.....

And let's hope Mata and KDB put on some seriously gooding performance to fight back into the starting 11. thumbup.gif

*
When Lamps & Schurrle was subbed-off the pitch and Mikel and Willian came on, the camera did show Oscar's face..and it was clearly shown "Where the fuuuk is Mata?!" laugh.gif

I don't think Lamps do that well. He was ok.
Few of his runs causes us to lose posession to a fast counter attack. but that is only my opinion. biggrin.gif

No problem to express your own opinion mate! smile.gif
I can't deny that Lampard did some mistake that led City counter, and he didn't really contribute in attack, but maybe I had very low expectation on him before the game started. So, that's why I am satisfied with his performance. nod.gif
At least he didn't ran out out position and let City attackers to run all over him. His positioning is always the biggest problem to me.

48hours after City match, but I think our second first XI is ready! Ba, Mata, Willian, KDB, Mikel, Luiz, Bertrand, Azpi, Essien, Eto!
No problem! rclxms.gif

lampard did ok vs City he stayed back and held his position, compared to previous match where he was so eager to run forward to have a shoot, which let loose many space for opponent to attack.

True. But strength on paper doesn't always reflect performance on the pitch. Some of those players got very few matches under their belt this season. It's just matter of how much that affects the players in terms of form and match fitness.

Good game nonetheless. . 1st half is a battle of 2nd stringer? And 2nd half arsenal put some of their star player. Good decision by mourinho to sub in ramires when ozil is in since ramires will just plug in most available space for ozil to move into and thus rendering ozil ineffective.

Some player really need to step up their effort namely essien. Speaking on how much age must have gotten into him. Another culprit would be willian and etoo.

Doesnt quite agree with the subbing out of kdb as he offer more creativity rather than the clueless willian.

Keep up the winning streak!

there's still pride to play for. if he take the game seriously, he would have started with all five in the first team.

I just happen to have a thought that in recent years, Carling or Capital One Cup has been the best platform for Arsenal to utilize their youth players. On top of that, with upcoming tough fixtures for them, I presumed that Arsene will be more cautious with their best players.

or perhaps it was just Chelsea, not some barbaric club of Stoke biggrin.gif

injuries didn't help (Ox, Gnabry, Eisfeld, Yennaris, Sanogo). plus, most of our youngsters are either loaned (Miquel, Afobe, Aneke) or deemed not good enough to be up against Chelsea (Frimpong, Akpom, Zelalem).

Newcastle away. Hope we don't get our ourselves too complacent. Pretty sure JM will keep the players in focus.

With the current 2nd team, I'm just afraid there will hardly any space for our youngster and all the loaned players.

not sure why essien being regarded as good last night.. winning is good but don't let that cloud our judgement. well at least, he is below par in my view.

he is slow. off-paced and look very very rusty. wayward shooting.. wayward passing.. he look like lampard in the early days when he play DM position. tried to hard to be box-to-box but very late to arrive for defence period. try review what he do in 2nd half.

for me, mikel perform much better than him last night..

i think he just improving..maybe regard good because of his current condition..lack of match fitness and chemistry in the team..yet he can still do his work..surely off paced..but he still there..but i do agree that he is below par..not even half of his best performance..

mikel always the safe deposit in the middle of the park..huhuhu

but JM subs Rami on to counter Ozil is a great sub..we shutdown Ozil movement and passing..effectively after that..bar a few sloppy tackling and off ball movement..

totally agree on ramires to counter ozil. ozil is one of the best player with good of the ball movement. but when you got someone like ramires, the space available is limited. but i pity kdb last night. he perform quite well while attacking and defence. he even got several crucial tackle. JM should give this boy a little more time to prove himself.

Chelsea was definitely the better team yesterday. The way they play by parking the bus and then hoofing the ball clear while waiting for any 4 players run up the field is the true sign of champions. Arsenal on the other hand was completely inferior. All they do is play beautiful football trying to penetrate chelsea's great wall of $1billion and putting on some intricate highly technical one two passes and through ball only 2 be broken up by one of the 10 chelsea players in the six yard box. Well done Chelsea.

Great to be on a winning streak now. We have to keep this up and we will soon see the trophies.

We can do it with this great squad depth and our amazing Mourinho. Just keep the spirit up and keep the blue flag flying high.

Don't let the other hateful supporters bother you. Sportsmanship is beautiful.

Anyway, I thought Schwarzer had an excellent game. Willian, Mata and Mikel too.

agree, he playing week in week out. Of course we all want to see Oscar in that position, but Mikel is a more likely replacement. In fact, Mikel could be preferable since Newcastle has some strong players in midfield.

so far not bad. A familiar Mazacar feel going on. But i like the various attempts to penetrate their defense; crosses, short ground passes, long direct ground passes. And our recovery also not bad. Just that when lamps is the deepest mid in while with possesion kind of risky.

Oscar and Torres didn't contribute much in the first half. Schurrle on the right might offer better service.

In midweek we bangga because we won against arsenal first xi. Now, no need for that when your first xi cant even string passes together.

The players at fault.. and mourinho also at fault.

And I really expect luiz to be grounded pretty hard. Really2 sloppy+lazy defending from him.

agree. It may be a tactical choice, but i still prefer someone who's playing better to stay on.

First 25 min, we started well. But we didn't progress after that point, finished the half in mediocre fashion and 2nd half was poor which is surprising since we always play better 2nd half after poor opening half.

#oscarout

no sarcasm, literally Oscar should've been taken out earlier. Too many complacent passes. Willian is much better replacement.

anyway, losing another 3 valuable pts at this stage is disappointing but we pretty much still in the race. no need to feel too dejected,.

i dont think chelsea over estimate opponent ler. it's a strong starting line up based on current player form. mata scoring, torres scoring. its the best starting line up for today.

just the players was seems off from the 1st minute. and newcastle pushing quite well too. pressuring the players. their high determination to win the game supersede chelsea form.

one of the bad day. hope this is one off problem only.

Too patient build up from the team. Understandable considering Newcastle defend deep. The team should have try to get as much set piece as possible. That the only way to score against such a tactic. First half was OK. 2nd half, the team look off key in both defend and attack.

Since when Fabianski (gk), Jenkinson (rb), Vermealen (cb), Monreal (lb), Miyachi (rw/lw), Bendtner (st), Park JY (st) r Arsenal 1st XI? hmm.gif
Even Rosicky isnt regular starter if all players fit. whistling.gif
Those Ramsey n Wilshere wouldnt hv to start that match (benched, maybe) if all youngsters midfielder that supposed to play in COC werent out injured - Zelalem, Gnabry n Ox; and d like of Ozil n Giroud wont even make on d match list. whistling.gif
Starting 4 regular starter (Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla & Koscielny) out of 11 players, doesnt make d team as 1st string team or else u have to say Chelsea isnt d whole 2nd string as i dont see Mata, ur last season best performer, as a 2nd string player either. Look at tonite game, ur team lost d ground n conceded when he was subbed out. doh.gif

Too patient is a pretty good description actually.many times we see our attacking players bursting forward when we dispossess them in midfield, but 99% of the time we play it safe, slow things down and pass it backwards.

It was a general statement bro. You was referring to the start of the game while I can say I refer to the 2nd half of the game. Wenger did sub-ed in 3 of your regular first teamer in the 2nd half so that makes it 7 out of 11. At least more than half. But this is not the main point of my post. Just stating that chelsea high flying winning streak need to be brought back to earth.. players too complacent with the win against other serious title contender.

yup. very few crosses from the team. and all of them are fail crosses. strength of ba might change the result for tonight. torres was nowhere near the way he play against city.

*
This. Our AMs don't find crossing sexy apparently. Always prefer to cut in and pass around the box. No need blindly cross every time la, but when have decent chance of Torres or anyone else to get to the ball first, cross the damn ball in to the box.

+1 for spirit.
Disappointing loss, but let's keep faith on the team. Our squad now deep enough to change players if needed. I believe Mou will know what to do.

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Nov 2 2013, 11:31 PM)
It was a general statement bro. You was referring to the start of the game while I can say I refer to the 2nd half of the game. Wenger did sub-ed in 3 of your regular first teamer in the 2nd half so that makes it 7 out of 11. At least more than half. But this is not the main point of my post. Just stating that chelsea high flying winning streak need to be brought back to earth.. players too complacent with the win against other serious title contender.
*
At 1 time it was 7 out of 11 but typical Wenger always subbed in players late when the match left less than 1/2 hrs to play, so its not much thing could do at 0-2 more than damage control. Thats y i believed manager had subbed out Ramsey for Park when he already thought that game is over n let the player rest n avoid unnecessary injury. Its end with 6 out of 11 actually. Even if its 6 or 7 out of 11, ur 2nd string is only by d name, the quality there is better than most teams in EPL. Those would definitely be d key player/star at other club, even if there r 2 Chelsea team in EPL, then i think Chelsea B would stay on top half group of d league.
Ur lose tonite isnt too bad. Its just 10th match, less than 1/4 of d league game. It what make the league so enjoyable to watch. If not it would just like watching La Liga where 2 clubs dominated. icon_rolleyes.gif

wtf ? spend £2 billion on buying and hogging players from other team still can't win ? tulah, next time must play positive football instead of back passing, park the bus or hoof the ball. bosan betul see chelski "play". watch golf better.

hi mr. envy, where's your UCL trophy? oh yeah..you'll came back with the dusty gold EPL trophy..

anyway back to the game, I noticed at one point Mata was open but Oscar opted for difficult pass rather than give the ball to Mata.

COMPLACENT is the right word for last nite match. We could win against an attacking team, but we struggle against physical with pressure team. Everton and now Newcastle.

November - Chelsea curse month

IMHO, Newcastle deserved the win..they are the better team last night.

Torres not perform, Chelsea also not perform.. We need you Torres, we need your physical strength.

Biasalah tu bro ada pasang surut..
Once in a while, of coz we also got a bad day in office.

But, i really2 hate Luiz style of playing. Why cant he just stay at the back and clear the ball??
Just be a defender and defend.

after this we have a list of winnable fixtures with the likes of Wes Brom, West Ham, Southampton, Sunderland, Stoke. however, if we play like last night then we can say sayonara to BPL already because all these team are mid table team and they're really hard to beat.

But Terry is 99% consistency. He was boss yesterday. Luiz pulak, some time defend like legend, then suddenly turn off for a while, commit to a rush challenge, but fail to get the ball. Luiz defending is good, just that it's not consistent. For defenders, they don't look at each time u defend well, they look at each time u don't.

To be honest, I think MaZaCar combo is not working for us anymore. Oscar is already adapted to playing as AMF instead of RMF. Plus Oscar lacks speed. With MaZaCar combo, we can only rely on Hazard's speed to create openings. Mata and Oscar both too slowpoke imo.
With Mou's style, it is better to play 2 speedy winger. Hazard and Shurrle. Then for the AMF role, start with Oscar, then later on sub in Mata. This would be his best strategy imo. brows.gif

if we are to play 433, we need a super strong striker (LUKAKU!) to hold up the ball and bring in the players. Too bad Anzhi offered us Eto and Roman nodded his head. We had to let Lukaku loaned out to gain more playing time.

It's just 1 defeat guys, and Newcastle is our bogey team. So yea, heads held high and looking forward to how we bounce back from this defeat. thumbup.gif
