Cole was really consistent, and at one point of time the best left back in the world. (Our Champions League winning season and before)
Ever since his haircut, he really has not been playing up to his old standards. Let's see what he can do this time. If he came back stronger, he wins his place and probably get a contract. |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Dec 16 2013, 08:30 PM) A little unbelievable IMO. Anyway, I think the people can post every possible results before the draw, then during the draw delete the incorrect ones. |

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Dec 30 2013, 12:54 AM) did anyone notice sterling keep on ghosting into the area behind cole? if nothing is done, i fear he can make a difference in the 2nd half.. 2-3 times he got there, 1-on-1 with cole but his delivery very poor and no end result.. Yup. He always does this, his link up with Suarez/Henderson is like magic yo.Mikel in for Lamps, change tactic? |

QUOTE(hfi @ Dec 31 2013, 12:50 AM) That's not underhand tactics. In football there are varying legit tactics that determine how your team functions. For instance, you can be either defensive or offensive. Or balanced without committing too defensively or offensively. Underhand tactics are usually unsporting tactics that aims to exploit certain elements of the game in order to gain an upperhand. A common underhand tactic is time wasting. It doesn't determine how your team functions but rather it looks to gain an advantage by running the clock down without really doing anything with the ball. The referee will usually issue a warning and then hand out a card appropriately. Both offensive and defensive team can use this underhand tactic. Argument is legit IMO, no need for anyone to start labelling people as passive-aggressive, hypocritical etcAnother example would be what Mourinho did against Ajax when forcing suspensions to reset their bookings. Again completely independent from team tactics and simply looking to gain unsporting advantage. Most teams don't bother with it and just eat the bookings - Di Matteo would have a stronger side against Bayern in CL final had he resorted to similar underhand tactic but i guess he wasn't keen on bending the law of the game. Yes i'm definitely a Liverpool fan. I was just saying when i watch other teams i tend to be a neutral - my apology if that wasn't clear. |
