Bila menang.. puji memuncak. This player on form.. that player hitting top gear n many more. Real problem was never addressed. Keep on happening week in week out.. Dunno what is happening.
And JM himself is as lost as his player.. We dont deserve the result tonight. Really really dont deserve it.. |

The crossing really piss me off.. hate to say this but do you see barca playing with crosses? This is not rocket science. We no longer have the big n strong player like drogba n ballack inside the box. All super small frame.. then still drill in the cross.
3amigos la whatever.. too fancy with the footwork. Poor off the ball movement. Everybody just wait to be fed the ball. One player show skill, all stop and watch him.. 2 PL games n we lost 5 points. Massive points.. because it was against lesser team where we should have won it. |

i agree that lampard is awesome in this game but i really hope with the superb game he had, he will not be granted the untouchable position in the team like before. he is good, but i dont think he can play like that regularly like he used to.
reasons? west ham is extremely poor last night. lampard was playing very far ahead of mikel and if we go against other title contender, the space he left behind will be exploited. my concern is only on oscar as our new #10. he is very hardworking. no point arguing about this. but in term of dictating play, IMO, he is still behind mata. but during the match, oscar do have some good interchange play between hazard and eto'o which is very good. i have nothing against him and i really hope oscar can prove his worth. on another note, azpi look really solid at left back. nice for him to play regularly and hopefully, he can give ashley a solid competition. |

Lampard @ 35.. played full 90minutes during weekend. And another 90minutes at midweek. Yup.. that seems correct while some other player might have perform better at his place last night. He might as well get some minutes in the coming game.
Oscar still being him.. the one selected by jm to be our #10. For someone with such big responsibilities, I was hoping for a consistent performance rather than a goal once in awhile. |

jose looks like to be taking advantage on the fan's hope about him coming back to the club as license to be more stubborn. the changes he made so far is still far from completion and the performance so far is below standard compared to the amount of talent we got.

Awesome response by the lads especially in the 2nd half. It seems JM takes a big gamble by playing with 2 strikers. It unsettles the midfield but at least it brought the intended results.
This is one of the big win considering how well soton performing this season. Good for Mata to get a full game. Iva really need to get some rest. Let Cole play again and Azpi can cover at RB. Essein can also feature again for Ramires at midweek. It was a careless mistake by Essien but probably because he doesn't featured a lot this season which explain the rustiness. And I wish for Torres to start again in midweek so that he can regain his sharpness. 1st win out of 9 games in a packed December. Hope we can keep up the pressure in Arsenal. |

in time of need:
1) we surely miss a goal scored by a striker. that was one of their main purpose right? ALL three of our strikers played tonight and ALL three are very very poor. torres is weird. instead of anticipating the ball, he wait and wait. eto'o is just too poor. all he got is a smile on his face. and dunno what to say on ba.. 2) i was actually hoping for some rotation tonight. has iva missed a game this season? how many consecutive games has azpi played? we got ashley at the bench, and KDB might be a better sub that eto'o. that was a really poor decision by JM. 3) cech is the other culprit tonight. he was so capable but how many goals have he let in without attempting to save it? remember cudiccini? that is the symptom he showed when cech displace him. maybe the thing lacking for cech is the competition.. 90% confirm he will start, so why is the need to work hard during training? |

asked to play attacking football, but the manager insist all player to have defensive duties.. and the fun part is, we are still leaking goals.
so, not even attacking (let alone beautiful) and still conceding goals. haha JM.. this time he got the tactics really wrong. |

QUOTE(abusive123 @ Dec 8 2013, 01:09 AM) honestly this chelsea team is starting to turn out to be a joke..the only saving grace has been our brilliant midfielders...look at the performance of our defense and attack..tragic..absolutely tragic. the red bolded words is best describe the team performance tonight.. and the striking department all season. |

first clean sheet in 7 games from all competition. very nice for a team that emphasize more on defending aspect of a game.
nevertheless, still a good win. can lift up the mood for upcoming game. |

poor game.. even on paper, our team is much superior than sunderland but we fluff our chances. we are so hopeful that the midfielders can get us goals but what if they are not delivering like in the game just now? our strikers are just there to fill-up the corum..
willian is a 32million flop.. bought just to troll spurs. |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Dec 18 2013, 12:50 PM) same script use by every team when theyre lose in COC. for me, a cup is a cup. we're in it to win it. totally agree with this.. we need to go for all win if possible. there is no need to suddenly cover up our lose with that kind of excuse..even if those players rested, our so call 'second string' is more than capable against the like of sunderland. luiz, cahill, azpi, lampard, cole, 30million willian, eto'o is part of this morning team. that is fa more superior than sunderland lineup. i said this last several season and will say it again. it it still a decent season if we can win the COC rather than finishing the season with NOTHING. i know chelsea is a big club, but COC is still a competition that we need to win despite the low popularity. |

i think i missed something on why willian is consider good tonight.. defensive wise, i think he is good. but i don't think he had done enough on the attacking phase. our right side look crippled with iva being on a little bit defensive and willian being quite ineffective.. he doesnt even click well with iva and ramires on the attack.. i think he being all around the pitch because of hazard moving like that. surely you don't want both hazard and willian to be at the same place..

QUOTE(yinchet @ Dec 24 2013, 05:00 PM) I hope we get striker with good physical playing style and able to score in the box and out of the box and also with good vision. considering our current playing style, i think getting someone with physical presence is good enough. with good scoring ability, this man can at least sucked 2 defenders to him which free up space for our midfielders. but this is like asking drogba to come back here..Am I asking too much? |

some people are very weird.. they are soo full of their attacking teams. why don't people accept that there is always an opposite side of everything? when there is an attacking team, there is bound to be a team which somehow is a bit defensive than them. and it is only logical to vary your tactics depending on your opponent.
before this, most people will say barca is the most attacking side on the planet. and yet, most managers are dumb enough to go on attacking mode versus them which lead to their own destruction. you can only win against this type of opponent if you either out gunned them (which was done by bayern to barca, dortmund to madrid) or play defensively (like we used against both of the team). defensive play is also an art which emphasized on hardwork and dicipline. but, playing defensive can also be destructive from counter-attack which means the team still have their attacking threat. i don't think there is any negative football even when the manager decided to make all 3 substitution he got as defensive. the only negative here is people's perception which is very wrong. do not brand something negative just because your team cannot do it. in the case of our game against arsenal, I am totally agree with JM on Arsenal being the boring one. |

got to admit it, it was on my face for eto'o. he is different in this game. credit to him.
but again, why can't we always play like this? hope nothing serious on iva.. my waifu will be furious if he is injured. |
