For those dat didn't watch the match and wanna watch the whole match.
Here it is. http://www.footballorgin.com/ Personally, this does not look like a 0-0 game. Many chances were created by us, and we were resilient at the back, but Arsenal did have their moment. Really end to end stuff. |

Don't is it me or what. When we attack, I feel we are like playing 4-1-2-3. Ram and Lamps are also joining the attacks with Mikel steadying the back four.

Strange though, based on the team line up suggested by Chelsea's fb page, as suggested by the ';' symbol, I thought we'll play 4-2-3-1. But when I watch live stream, the starting of the match, they show Chelsea 4-3-3. Don't know which is Mou's actual formation. To confuse Arsenal? lel.
edit. Just checked Chelseacfc website's Match Report. Indeed it was 4-3-3. This post has been edited by briantwj: Dec 24 2013, 12:34 PM |

If we play defensively, how did we have 7 shots on goal and they have only 1? We had more shots on goal compared to them and we played defensively?

To be honest, Mikel should not have been given a red card actually.
The ball is not under controlled by Arteta, it is also not under controlled by Mikel. The ball is a loose ball. The ball is equally distanced between Arteta and Mikel. So it is a 50-50 challenge. Both player lunged themselves at the ball. It's just that Mikel bounced off the top of the ball and went studs up into Arteta's shin. If u looked at the reply, Mikel actually did touch the ball 1st and made it bounced. It's the follow up that catches Arteta. From the referee's point of view, it's neither one's possession of the ball, it's a loose ball, 50-50 challenge, 1 player did caught the ball, no foul. Albeit the follow up is nasty, but 1 of the players did get the ball, so no foul. If both players did not get the ball, there would not be a foul too coz it's a fair challenge, or if it is too nasty, the referee will give a drop ball. Both players went in lunging. Whose fault to blame? This post has been edited by briantwj: Dec 24 2013, 01:09 PM |

As usual la, ever since Mou's 1st season in Chelsea, we dy got the saying from opponent 'parking the bus in front of the goal', simply because our defence is good. Whole season only 15 goals scored against us.

Until Luiz subbing in, I don't think we were playing for a draw. Even if we are, Luiz will not take on the last minute free kick. He will just pass it near the corner flag to a teammate.

time for Roman 2.0. bigger cheque book, bigger name signing.
Sell Torres, sell Eto, get back Lukaku, get back Piazon. Then we have Lukaku, Ba, Piazon. Sell Essien, promote Chalobah. He is definitely the future pivot of ours. |

Benteke from Aston Villa or Llorente from Juve. read some where that Llorente is wanting a move away from Juve to Arsenal. It'll be nice to hijack the deal.
Benteke is young and promising, Llorente is already 28, played in La Liga and Serie A before. Should be gud signings. This post has been edited by briantwj: Dec 24 2013, 04:51 PM |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Dec 24 2013, 04:57 PM) I dont think Llorente suit our play, we need a low gravity type of striker. In the same mould as Rooney, Aguero, Tevez. Trying to find someone in the mould of Drogba. and Benteke is a pandora box. I dont want to take risk and unsettle Lukaku, they both are rival for the main man for Belgium..It must be either one of them..and I will take Lukaku anyday. Benteke is never the same player dy after his injury. Just thot that both Benteke and Lukaku fighting for a spot in the same team and national team will push both even further. Then we have Drogba 2.0 and 3.0. Greedy me. Hulk? Definitely have the body strength of Drogba. |

QUOTE(Gaia34 @ Dec 26 2013, 03:19 PM) anyone here fancy Higuain as our new striker wah...it shud be very costly. Since Napoli just signed him this season. The release clause sure high yo. But he is some1 dat Mou worked with before. Mou knows his stuff. Should be gooding signing. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/new...ourinho-2959539 |

If somebody was boring, they were boring because Petr Cech made zero saves.
It was the kind of week Liverpool has every week. Very sarcastic from the Happy one. I rike. |
