Hello everyone!

I just read from the forum at iLounge. Seems that the fifth generation iPod has a tendency to destroy right earphones. Anyone here has that problem before?

Wah, never knew that the iPod can spoil earphones... But funny, how come only the right one is affected and not the left?

Bumping this up again - can anyone here confirm that their headphones have been damaged through iPod use? I'm getting very mixed results when I look this up through Google. Some blogs reference the iLounge forums regarding the issue, but the comments that fill these blogs are generally sarcastic, blaming damage to drivers on human error rather than the iPod itself.

I've used my SHE9500 for few months already , no problem so far . But sometimes i think it is a coincidence that many ipod 5g users have their right earphone destroyed , maybe they should blame themselves for blasting it or whatever that may cause this problem?

My iPod 3G did that.
First the right one, THEN the left one.
I don't use it nowadays- battery RIP-ed.

Wow, your headphones got damaged in a gradual state, mate... I'm lucky that my iPod phones are still doing fine though!
