Funny that my mobile data refuses to reconnect when I move from a no reception to reception place. Have to toggle airplane mode on and off again to force a reconnect.

It seems to be a new problem; didn't face it in my first few days of owning the phone.

Plus it only happens at my office (basement parking to office floor, where I can usually get LTE).

I'm inclined to think it's a network problem though.. anyone else facing the same issue?

probably due to our phone still new and being a minority user some more, hence no dedicated settings yet

try this
Settings > More... (under Wireless & Networks) > Internet Settings
Accept to continue. the phone will attempt to download new settings.

Already did that the second day I faced the problem. Still didn't help sad.gif

And it still doesn't explain why it magically faced the problem when previously it was fine..

Hmm my phone randomly crashed yesterday and today. Had to power button + volume up to get it to restart.

Plus data still refuses to reconnect when I move from a no reception to a reception area, but only in my office.

Strange!

Tested the demo unit at The Curve yesterday. Indoor shots not much different than Nexus 4. Outdoor should be better (can't test because tethered to display booth). When compared side-by side with an aging Lumia 920 GDR2, the latter still excels at indoor shots. And the Xchange program is horse crap. 1 month old Z only offer RM 900 max.

Sorry but coming from a Nexus 4, I have to disagree. Stock Android's camera driver is rubbish. Z1's camera is so much better.

The only thing the Nexus 4 does better is photo sphere - fantastic and easy to use. Sony's one is rubbish shakehead.gif

Stock app is always crap and everyone knows that. I too come from N4 and before that GN. Maybe it is the indoor lighting but I'm not satisfied with the images despite having good lens and 20MP. Let's wait and see what 3rd party can cough up with something better.

I agree - Z1's indoor shots could be a lot better as well.. it seems to get confused when there's a source of lighting nearby, and overexposes the shot really badly nod.gif

I came from Nexus 4 and before that GN as well!

This is the best low-light shot I've gotten from the Z1, in Superior Auto mode.
