Hello, I am driving Proton Iswara A/B 2002. Wanna upgrade from stock sound system to 6x9 3 way speakers without upgrading the HU. Currently using stock HU which is Clarion, and stock speakers. So here I want to ask is :

1. If after change to new 6x9 speakers, can the stock HU support the new speakers? I mean in term of sound quality and loudness.

2. Do I need to add amp? Or change new HU?

3. 6x9 3 way speaker brands that is good and quality? any to recommend? currently prefer pioneer.

1. Yes, support but not might not able to push full (fully utilized)

2. Stock HU might not able to push without amp but aftermarket HU might able to push without amp depending on spec of your 6x9

3. refer to spec and listen by your ear if there is some demo set out there. too many brand...

3. Anything that suit your budget, just go for it. But I think if you want to find it easily, then Pioneer or Alpine brand is widely available.
