Ping is like ~300ms, woeable, just not like Malaysia.

For PVP or WOE should I roll a Priest or Blacksmith?
Don't feel like playing a spellcasting job due to the latency.
Gonna be hell to level fragile classes such as Aco or Mage

Personal preference if you want as healer or offense/ + suicider( mechanic).


It's harder for priest lv 1- 70 only, cause no ppl party and you left with yourself heal bombing the eternity of wraiths and mummies, and when you lv 70 you go Gramps' party quest, every1 wants you. Mage even harder, cause not many party wants you, only easier when you become 3rd job, when parties want you.

I've just randomly check the Malaysian population by asking the new players in Izlude mid, and got like 6 ppl from Malaysia in like 1 hour time span.

how is the ping, worse or ok?

I just found like ~12 more new players from Malaysia

how about the overall population ? around 500 from around the world ? or less than that

From my ~4 yrs playing there, my very rough guess is the human population= 1.6k/3k is human, from around the world, pinoy & indon I expect is ~50% of population, malaysian= don't know.

update: the game has quite bad delay 1.5~2s.. not enjoyable, despite finishing the download of the whole client within 30+minits.

Agree with u 1.5 delay and some bots quite makes me kinda demotivate me from lvling =(

I didn't create any, but I only saw 2 just randomly walking around but I forgot their names, 1 with a round Malaysia Flag emblem, don't know how many ppl, 1 if I'm not wrong use spanish words but only Malaysian allowed, but kinda small guild. Also, no one here seems to want to maintain a Malaysian guild.

Last time I also auto pilot, when I form 4, 8am- 5pm school, can't level fast like that, compared to those already graduated can 24/7 RO, I think it's ok to auto pilot if in those circumstances, just make sure don't destroy the economy with it.

Hey guys! I've just started on WarpPortal's RO ie iRO!
I played RO 6 years ago but it was only very briefly.
I'm playing it again and hopefully gonna stick around for a long time. I think this game is very beautiful and addictive. It's the only MMORPG which made me really want to explore even though it's not heavily quest-driven. I love its sprites, the maps, BGM's, skills, the people, everything!
Glad that it's no longer pay to play.
Is there any Malaysian guild in iRO? Woud love to join it.

@Tian Jian: TalonRO is classic or renewal server? And usually got how many people online on TalonRO? Classic has around 500~600 people online usually (don't know how many of these are botters). If TalonRO has more.. I may consider moving there lol.

Just started on TalonRO last night. had about 1.2k players. seemed to have a lot of active players for a private server, and also because I assumed RO private server community was dead.
Seems like a good population, however I really dislike it because you can get godly gear (ie god equipments, MVP cards) from donating/doing events. They have separate PVP rooms and WOE which restricts the godly gears, but I havent checked out hows the population in those.
Unfortunately it seems that the other servers are dead. Based on RMS standings, 1st place (TalonRO) has 1.2k players online, 2nd place (heRO) has 200 players online. Thats a big difference. I guess I'll stick with Talon for a while
