Dear sifu. Recently I service my saga 1.6 se for 1st svc.  When ii pay, they say compulsory to put magnatrap. B4 I hand over key, I insist no to all accesories. I make complain at proton fb , and now they ask me to return that magnatrap. My question: did they need to open engine? And let say need to remove engine oil, so I need to pay the new engine oil? My car just 2000km .outlet proton nearby bulatan pahang, side kopitiam oldtown.
*
magnetrap was installed outside the oil filter, can be easily removed, no need to change engine oil again

but it's not easy to access from engine bay, because the oil filter is facing the driver (facing the dashboard from engine bay) if i'm not mistaken la..

PJ, previously i went to the service center at section 13, around Dutch Lady/Digital Mall. Should I mention i want to remap the TCU and ECU rather than describing the problem because previously i mentioned my car jerks every time i start the car they are not able to solve the issue.
*
i also did my service there, they will ask u if there's any problem before they do the update, probably because some owner don't have problem or they can live with it before the ecu/tcu update

for the flx se, what do you guys recommend to improve sound insulation? i can always hear road noise above 80kmh and motorbike or lorry exhaust sounds. it seems like there is no weather stripping in the B pillar?
*
you can replace the door seal with thicker rubber, got those oem type and stick-on type. If budget permit you can also do door soundproof say 2 layer on outer layer and door trim. for b pillar u might want to add some stick on rubber soundproof, those D type.

if u search previous threads, v12k posted images of his mod on door seals

i want to share something regarding rattling in my car,

i believed it is settled for now, it's coming from passenger side b pillar, I've put some foam tape between plastic trim and car body (upper part, white plastic), I also put insulation on the bottom part of the plastic trim but there's not much space there and careful not to block (slow down) the seat belt operation (esp when retracting)

probably factory fitment problem as the driver side don't hv this problem
