IINM, if still got immo chip, can still get to duplicate key.
SC will straight away say cannot duplicate key whatsoever.
based on my experience, the SC guy say cannot duplicate key. have to change new alarm set.
stock alarm set comes with 2 key sets. if gone 1 key, cannot make another. have to change new alarm set, with 2 new key sets. then the old one cannot use.
if still got immo chip, can buy new key, transfer the immo & alarm setting to new key, grind the new key, and you done.

Yes, but there are charges to reprogram the ECU to accept the new chip and reject the missing chip.

from what I understand from iska's reply is that cip is not replaceable.
if you lost ur common use key. you can take the immo chip from the spare key and transfer to the new key.
means your spare key = no immo chip.

reprogram ECU to accept new immo cost few hundred ?
i not sure, macam got listen david said before.
or was it new alarm system + reprogram ecu

i thought can do the immo chip if u provide them the code number that comes together with ur spare key (for my case is the emblem keychain with the number on it)
