QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Oct 16 2013, 11:15 AM) V12k as a TS his policy is spoon fed/frequently asked question is allowed to be asked over and over again in this thread. So just leave it for those who willing to answer and make this thread as peaceful as possible. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Oct 16 2013, 11:22 AM |

Simply put, I'm pretty much against spoon-feeding as it won't be beneficial for that person. It just shows how lazy a person can be. With Google, practically anything can be found.
But since I just don't care |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Oct 16 2013, 06:46 AM) dunno la the most noticeable difference after having colder heat range is when the engine is not warmed up, the jerks /vibration is higher, and idle rpm seems to be lower. i actually have to increase the idling slightly higher to compensate.however after it's warm, the idle rpm's will be at 1k-1.1k (which is over than spec but. high revving with these plugs felt a LOT smoother than standard plugs... so i just ignore the downsides This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Oct 16 2013, 11:59 AM |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 15 2013, 05:05 PM) Much thanks for the pointers man! don't worry, definitely not taking it personal. hell, as a matter of fact my driving IS bad that even myself thought the same after watching the vids. so many places that i could have done better. as close as possible is during corner since I can still see some space between the rumble strips (yellow & black) actually the ruble strips is some sort of a guide for drivers where to aim to get the fastest line. If you notice the turns outside of the turn and inside of the turn got the strip. you can use that to draw an imaginary line across it. hardto explain by words maybe next TT i use pen to draw...do you have a bigger image for the elite circuit track. I can use that to draw the line and let you see. just my 2 centbtw when you mentioned hitting as close as possible to the apex, is it during turn in, or corner exit, or both? also for the concrete, i was actually wondering does it actually improves my speed or actually otherwise as opposed to sticking solely on the tarmac. you think i should just go on it fully asap and hard brake just before the chicane at an angle? (i noticed all 6 laps i tend to hold back a lot indecisive of what to do, a small part also have to do with my banging the chicane as there were folks who lost their mirrors from it LOL) QUOTE(bwin999 @ Oct 16 2013, 11:52 AM) Do you know all cars comes with user manual. It's in our glovebox. Good reading material when bored.... |

Judging by the amount of new Saga on the road and the amount of traffic in LYN, I can say that the amount of humans requesting for spoonfed information has reduced significantly eversince we have almost every info in the first page; https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2982357
I understand how is the frustration faced by eric, because during his tenure as TS, everybody is asking about FC, FC and FC only... the good old days Personally, I don't advocate spoonfeeding as well (hence the creation of FAQ on first page). But then, sekali sekala one or two new members popped out once in a blue moon asking about the same question is acceptable as long as it is not asked daily by different member... Even the spoonfeeding approach can be taken differently. One can either spoonfeed him with direct information (at the expense of your time, brain juice, energy, finger muscle, etc) or to spoonfeed him the right way to obtain the right information. |
