noob here with 2 chap ayam breed pom ...seeking enlightenment.. my pom should be about 6-7 week old by end of this week.

I would like to know how many time do i need to send them for vaccination huh ? relatives had gave them their first dosage before she pass them to me. Anyone kind enuff to shed some light ?

1. how many shot/dosage of vaccine required ?
2. what the heck is deworm ?

in case i'm missed out any critical steps regarding those pup health issue please do let me know. thanks alot !

btw which brand of dry food you guys are feeding your pom ?

Currently i'm feeding them with Acana puppy, is this brand ok ? as there's beet pulp in it's ingredient which i'm really concern because i read quite some number of review stating that beet pulp were a controversial filler ingredient that might harm the puppy.. hmm

hehehe thanks for the info, btw i did search unker google for few week but there's too much info on vaccine which is hard for my non medical brain to digest

anyway i just double confirm with my relatives, that they still haven't gone through any vaccine / de-worming.

btw I just send them to a vet for a 7 in 1 jab, deworm and some interceptor spectrum heart worm tablet.... hmmm i wonder why they are so passive now .. not moving at all. Is this symptom normal after a jab ?

As for shampoo which brand do you recommend ?
currently i'm using some cheapskate Alpo shampoo for them.

guys.. a white male pom of my relatives had been dog-naped along with his cage ! it happened 1 or 2 weeks ago...

hmm so guys dont leave your pom on your yard or garden without any supervision..

what to do.. those fella were quite desperate these dayss....

really headache now , one of my mutt (2 month old) doesn't really eat alot and seems to lost quite some weight with no major health issue, he's still hyper...Worst, i need to feed him with my hand .. really wtf ....btw I had been feeding them Acana and Orijen Puppy since a month ago.

Picky eater ? any other brand to recommend ??

There's one more thing i would luv to know, did you guys feed your pom with supplement food such as vitamins, fish oil and etc etc ? if yes any recommendation for it's general health and coat ? Both of my mutt pom seems to have some minor shedding prob.

u can easily get orijen in KL, it's available at pet safari ikano or mines wonderland. =)

roger that sifu, still havent bought any fish oil yet but i did feed them with seven sea vitapet coat conditioner oil hmm gonna scout for those stuff as u mention tomorrow. hope i could find those stuff at ikano lol

i really need some advice here....

one of my mutt is really picky on his food, i tried switch many type of brand edi and usually he'll just take a bite or two then sneeze and walk away ... brand tried - acana puppy, orijen puppy, natural balance ultra premium, addiction kangaroo&apple, addiction raw rehydrate...

This is getting real annoying as he's obviously losing weight instead of gaining like his mate.

sifu, i went to ikano last week but cant seem to find that, only available were salmon .. but eventually i bought the raw dehydrated venison and cranberries type... tried feed my mutt in dry and wet form.. he licked, sniff then sneeze and walk away betul-betul damn 9 lancee and ccb betul !! lol
barf is the last thing i'm gonna consider.. haih bos where got so free to go pasar and prep food for them when i dont even have enough time to sleep -.-"

yeah bos really headache, i did tried the starving method and specific time feeding but no go..
atm he only hantam cooked food eg such as table scrap .. but where got that much of scrap wor

hehe mind to donate some nutro ? dont wunna waste money on something which he gonna reject .. err regarding jerhigh .. i can go pokai oh, rm 6-7 per pack and he could hantam one pack in a day ... RM7*30 = RM210/month
