Hello everyone! I'm new here and would love for you experts and pros to teach me a thing or two about my most favourite breed in the whole wide world! I read over you guys' discussions and looks like Wayne & MasPoms have awesome Poms! I was just wondering because I dropped by "The Pet Safari" in Ikano recently and saw a Pomeranian photo at their puppy area and was just wondering if either Wayne or MasPoms owns that vicinity and I assume that Pom is theirs? Please say, "Yes!". Lol! Because that would be so awesome!

I dropped by again today and met the owner, Zack. I took the courage to talk to him and he told me that the pomeranian in the photo, Cutter, has only started showing this year and has won 9 BOB, 2 BIS and 2 RBIS (I hope I memorized all those alphabets correctly?) What does all this mean? He told me only briefly before he had to leave for a meeting so I didn't get to chat with him in detail what all that thingamajig means... But he said it's a hobby of his and he views dog shows as a game and past time. He seems very nice though... Do any of you happen to know him?

Hey there Spirit26 & Wayne! Thank you guys for being so sweet & patient in answering my dumb questions! Lol! I'd love to own a Pomeranian some day but it's a *huge* commitment owning a puppy so I really have to think about it and not to mention, save some money for it! Lol! Y'know how some people can afford a puppy/dog but not take good care or properly maintain it. If I had my own, I'd spoil him/her to bits! Lol! I should probably start getting some acessories so it wouldn't hurt my wallet so much when I do decide finally to get one! Hehe! You currently have puppies for sale, Wayne?

Lol! I'm so jealous, Spirit26, that you got to see MasPoms' pups! Was it just recently? Any pictures? Are they for sale? Lol!

Hi again everyone! Finally I get to meet the Pomeranian expert everyone's raving about, MasPoms. How're you doing? It's great that we finally get to talk. Wayne & Spirit26 have nothing but praises for you & your Poms. Congratulations on your new litter too! It must be really exciting!

Wow, Peter! That surely is a huge amount for a puppy! But I guess you get what you pay for! Oh! Maybe I can drop by the show that you mentioned this Saturday if I can. I'm getting all excited just thinking about it! Will there be many Pomeranians on show then?

Wayne, enjoy the land down under. It's real fun there but not so fun when you're there for studies, I guess... Lol!

Cheers! Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Added on July 24, 2008, 2:36 pmOh, forgot to ask you, Peter, where is the show going to be at and what time it starts? Sorry for the trouble!

Yeah, we totally understand. In a way, it's actually not good to let a puppy lick your hands until they've done the 3rd vaccination... Can't be too careful with the little fluff balls ;-P~

By the way, how's everything going on there, Wayne?

Peter, Caro looks very gorgeous! I couldn't make it during the last show you mentioned that you were handling a Poodle? It's actually a shame that you didn't show him the last show. How come? He's gorgeous!

I heard from a pet shop owner in Klang that Zack's Pomeranian, who was shown when you handled the Poodle won a Best In Show? Is it true? And it has a Malaysian "Grand" Champion title?

Wayne, I thought you brought your dogs with you! Who's taking care of them here? You must miss them *SO* much!

Peter, ah... Okay. I have no idea what CACIB means but... Cool! Lol! Caro does look very much like a teddy bear and he is cute too. Does this mean that you won't be showing Caro anymore? How sad!

Anyway, do you know when the next MKA dog show is and where it will be held? I really have to make it a point to go this time...

Hey Wayne! Poor Magic! Lol! I do hope your friends take good care of him. If not, you'll know who's a very willing volunteer ;-P~ Hehe! How long until you graduate? I'm sure your kids will understand...

LynnOYW, do you have a Pom too? By the name of Yang, I presume? Correct me if I'm wrong! Lol!

Aww... Both of them are so cute! I dropped by Ikano again today and they've put up some never before seen pictures of Carter and also his ribbons! *SO* adorable! If you guys have time, do drop by and have a look! It's on the pillars of the puppy area at the Pet Safari!

Pomeranians are now officially my favourite breed! Lol! There's no way any other breed can compare to their superiority! Thank for posting up the pictures, Wayne! They're awesome!

Yeah! MasPoms & Spirit 26 should post their pictures up as soon as possible! Let us who don't have the blessings or luck f owning a Pom at the moment to drool & bask in their glory! Lol!

Hello Spirit26! Cute puppies!

Hi Peter! Congratulations on your new puppies! Which kennel are they from? Parti-coloured Pomeranians are rare, yeah? They must've cost a bomb! Lol! Are they males or females? Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions! Lol!

Hey Wayne! I was about to say, long time no hear from you! Lol! How're studies? Haha! Maybe you're really strict with them, that's why they're happy when their daddy's not around! Lol!

Jase, thanks for posting the pictures! So adorable! And yeah, didn't know that Peter was away? Maybe showing more Poms? Hehe! Yeah, I saw Caro's picture in the "Pets Lover" magazine too (August edition)! One word - Cute!

I dropped by Ikano today and managed to talk to Zack. He told me he's imported a few Pom puppies and they'll be out of quarantine next Wednesday! Apparently there are white and parti-coloured ones! I'm really excited to see!

Also, he just got Carter's Malaysian Grand Champion certificate. So "grand" and proud of his boy. Lol! I wish I had a Pom like that!

Peter, pictures of the black and tan! I find this colour *so* striking! Whose bloodline does this one have? How're the previous 2 you just imported?

Wayne, long time no chat! Hehe! How're your Poms?

I saw the Pomeranian puppies at Pet Safari also last weekend. Talked to Zack and apparently, he imported the Pomeranians at his shop from Taiwan on his own. Guess he didn't get them from Evon. Most of the Poms at his place now are from Taiwan. There's a white male who is completely ice-white and a few others who're a very light cream and also a parti-colour! Capital cute-ness!

But yeah, according to him, Pomeranians have always been slightly more expensive compared to other breeds but people have just started realizing this lately because of Pom-fever that's going around! Lol!

Oh and guess what?! His Pom, Cutter, is in this month's issue of "Pets Lover". Cover page! Lol! I had to get the magazine! All this while I thought it was Carter! Lol! Zack told me that he's now in Russia and later, he'll be going to Hungary with his breeder. It's a holiday for him and at the same time just want him to try his luck on the world stage. He's not really expecting anything because there are tonnes of other gorgeous Poms competing but just wanted Cutter to have fun and have a go!

I'm starting to think that now, being a dog is better than being human! Lol! I haven't even been to those places!

I've heard that these so-called "teacup" puppies actually don't exist in any breed's standards but it's just a marketing strategy some breeders/pet shops use so that they can sell it for much more! Apparently they starve them so they won't grow that big or they're probably the runt of the litter (The weakest)! They also don't live as long as the healthier sized ones.

Haha! Reminds me of something really funny. There was a customer at Zack's place looking for a teacup Chihuahua or something like that a few weeks back and he had to 'educate' her, technically. Lol! That's how I found out too. That's why he says you'll hardly ever see these "teacup" puppies at his place.

Baby Mina, I know huh! I've heard about that and you're right, it's extremely cruel! Have you seen the "bonsai cat" attachment that used to be circulated around the internet? It's totally horrific! I know I wouldn't want them! Lol!

Pandacid, if you want to have a look at a "live" snow white Pomeranian, Zack has one now at Ikano. He's got a lot of Pomeranians on display now, mostly imported from Taiwan. Orange, cream and even parti-colour! *SO* adorable!

Jase, I'm really sorry to hear about your boy. I really hope that he'll get better soon. I don't want to sound like a smart-ass here but my suggestion to you is to send him to the vet to get a blood test done for parvo virus. The reason why I'm saying this is because a friend's friend had a toy poodle she bought apparently from a "home breeder" and it had bloody diarrhea, started to lose appetite and the puppy was tested positive for it. It's treatable if you send him there in time. Do let us know how he's doing and I'll definitely be praying for him too. *hugs*

Wayne, how're you doing? Thank you for being so nice! I was just concerned about Prince and I know how depressing it must've been for them during that time!

Jase, I'm so glad to hear that Prince is alright! We're all here praying for him!

De Lonely, I've seen that episode many times! Lol! I don't think it's a teacup! We talked about the teacup issues here a few days ago. At least, I did! Lol! But yes, the colour makes it look very cute!
