Hi, i am looking for male pom for mate...i have 1 female pom about 1.1kg...Did any one of u have similar weight male pom for mate ?

Hi all

I have a 1.5 yrs old male Pom bought from a breeder in Penang. Potong already because one testicle didn't descend and vet advised to.

He has some hair problems though. A yr ago we took him to a groomer who completely misunderstood us and haves him down to one inch of hair instead of cutting off one inch (just mumbled sorry only....but too late anyway). Took forever to grow back and now his hair is frizzy and sparse.

Tried pumping vitamin oil into his food.
Also tried switching diets - fish, lamb etc.
A breeder in desa park city (always wearing cap) reckmmended feeding rice, boiled chicken, sesame oil and cheese.

His fur has softened slightly but still not much improvement. Any suggestions? We don't bathe him every week btw.

my 2 years old pom also same testical problem and almost same fur issue like urs..
i have not send my pom for operation yet.

my pom after send to a groomer... the fur start to be very rough even after become long and on the legs, the fur stop growing.
sent to vet, the doc say my pom got no infection and my pom dont have the habit biting his leg.

kind of sad looking my pom now...

Hi guys and gals , i just have my new pipi (pom) join my family .would like to ask you guys few quesdtion ,first is the way to prevent or the way to kill kutu,second is did you all brush your lovely pom teeth ?if yes how long to do it one time?third ,usually what kind of dog food feed it ?....many thanks .

my Pom mix is ald 7 months old and she still couldnt be trained to toilet..
we have another schnauzer which is 2 days older than her, came in our house 2 months later, he knows where to pee and poo.. the same technic we used but why my Pom mix so..... stubborn to learn?

Not sure if your pom was taken away from his mother <8weeks old... i read that if that happens, the pup is not thought proper potty training by the mum. Basically, he needs to know not to poop where he sleeps and keep certain places clean.

In my case, I thought mine by first keeping him in the cage everytime he wants to poop.. have to watch him all the time and reward him the moment he poops in the cage. after a few times, he knows to poop in there. Took 5 days to train.

My Pom is super naughty and stubborn.
He pees whenever he come out from his cage.
More than 10 spots of pees all over the house.
Even if bring him go outside, also pee everywhere.
He is nearly 2years old now, don't know how to train him already

u have to spend alot of time with your dog and watch him for peeing. The moment he wants to pee or peeing, you need to correct him for peeing in the wrong place. Tell him no many many times. once he did it wrong, confine him to his cage for 30 mins. ignore him. Let him out once he is quiet and behaving well. Then put a place for him to pee.... get some of the news paper with the smell of his pee, put it on the spot u want him to pee... when he wants to pee, bring him there and tell him pee... and let him smell the paper.... once he pees, reward him with a treat he likes a lot... u need to do this many times until he gets it.... it took me 5 days to toilet train my Pom.

I cane him before but he seems like don't know pain at all.
Plus, the attitude that I cannot resists the most is he loves to pee on human.
If I sit on the floor, he will walk near and pee on me or anyone else too when he got the chance.

sometimes beating no use.... confine!... the moment he does something wrong.. put him in the cage for a long time... 30mins... make it longer slowly.. until he gets it right

You can look for vets to do it.
There are many vets who know how to do it.
However if you are looking for recommendation I will recommend you Dr. Lian at Klang.
