Branching from Techno-guy's question,

I'm kinda curious. So for poms without the fox face...are they consider pure breed? Or are they just pure breed pomeranians who just happen to not have the fox face genes?

Hello~

New to this club.
have this pom mixed Silky terrier last week,(after my poor Coffee- JRT gone).
her name is Momoe... looks like pom more...fox face.
She is very small size, like to bark. how to train her not to bark...?
Has very special characteristics.. act like human and a kid.. she likes to play, if we dont entertain her, she will make noise.

overall she is very cute... love her at the first sight. =)
see her cute face!

I have a pom. From what I have learnt, there isn't a particular face type to recognise.
But from the three photos you given, I will say it is not a pomeranian.
A Pom baby will have much thicker fur as compared to it six or seven month.
If you are interested to get a pom that is cute and nice thick fur, it is best to find a reputable breeder, those who are involved in the show scene.
Their price might not be as expensive as other claimed, and you can sure that you have a cute baby in future which you not need to worry about any inherent diseases,

Yup.... have to train them not to be anxious and manage their separation anxiety.
Not much choice, since we have to work and no one is home. Just leave enuf water and give him some space to move about and make sure not hot for him.

mine is a pom 6 months old... and he just gets a bit excited when we come home... but i trained him to sit down and wait for me to let him play... else he has no control and do what ever he likes... like whinning and crying.

Wow, Ur POmie so cute.
Ur pomie need more social to meet different type of ppl in age n look. suggest u should try to warning ur pomie not to bark and tell their are ur friend or so on, till u able to control ur pomie.
If u dont training or warning ur pomie, ur pomie will use to it to bark at stranger.
