Shortcuts and widgets only work on "swipe to unlock" anything that requires pass wont have that function.

Imagine having a password and yet your widget by-passes that. What's the point of having a password? XD

If your cover case doesn't have 2 copper pins inside your back cover, then its not real and it wont work. If it does have the 2 pins then it should work. Settings are in Settings>General>Accessory>S View Cover.

Worst case scenario if you don want to buy another case, can try automaton suggested by Uncle Benny

I'm afraid those aren't the pins you are looking for. Where did you buy that? Did he say is ori cover? Price is standard around RM189. I suggest you go back to the shop where you bought it and clarify with them. These 2 Pins are sort of like the "detector" of ori casing.

Did some testing with and without the back cover attached. When attached, placing a magnet at the bottom left of your screen triggers the s-view. When detached, placing a magnet at the same location does nothing.

Maybe check your memory space left. 4k videos are huge. About 10MB per second. Might be the free memory space cap that is causing it.
