I want to give my humble opinion on the Galaxy Gear..
Overall to me its more of a fashion than an accessory to accompany the Note 3..
Emails can't be read but instead the gear prompts the user to look at his or her Note 3. I guess it defeats the purpose of a gear..
The only thing I like about the gear is the front screen and the camera function..
I hope the second generation of the gear would be a better one..
More apps are coming soon on the gear's store, hope it would be more of a use than just displaying a gimmicky accessory on your hands, just like a Rolex watch..

I noticed for Nova launcher set as default and when I press and hold the centre button and select Google Play and press back to exit, it will go straight back into TouchWiz.

Okay, I bought another Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So this is my second Note 3.
And I also got 2 Samsung Galaxy Gear.

IMO, i don't think it is necessary to upgrade your phone to Note 2.

Was wondering if anyone is facing any blue tooth issue like this

1) connect blue tooth with hands free
2) only tick phone audio ( for calls )
3) untick media audio
4) straight away lose all audio on phone including lock screen "ripple noise" and also keyboard sound

5) disconnect hands free
6) still no sound

only solution is to Restart the phone then the sound will come back

:S hard for me when I enter car to use hands free and then off it to work . Please do let me know if anyone else is like that

Just bought yesterday note 3..curious one thing..do we need to register by ourselves the e warranty or retailer will register it?

Just wanna share with some who doesn't know. I'm using Screen Off and Lock to turn off the screen without using the power button.

The good thing is by using Nova (you may use other launcher), I enable the swipe gesture on the dock icon to this Screen Off. And best part is this app enable you have the old tv turn off animation in GB

Actually what the benefit to root it. Pls advice, still not understand enough.

So what is the best case for the Note 3 atm? Mine's still without case and I don't feel safe with it
