The corner of my screen has the purplish smear ever since the update. Anyone has similar problem? upon checking in the xda developer, there are some Samsung galaxy phones experience the same problem within a few weeks of buying

it is only obviousin a light Or white background. Dark background not obvious

According to news, this most probably is meant for Japanese market and won't reach us here.

Some tips to make the N3 even faster

Go to S-voice app, go to settings and untick open via the home key.

Go to settings -> about device -> scroll down to build number and click it 7 times to unlock development option's . Go in development option's scroll down till you see 3 options about animation scales, change them all too 0.5x or animation off.

You'll see that opening/exiting apps is faster now

I received my S View case from superbuy.com just now
It works very well showing calls, sms and I need not open cover to response to these
And only thing I don't quite like is the casing edges are quite "sharp" feeling to touch .
And I prefer the back texture feeling vs the original back cover faux leather texture

Cap Ayam one won't work.

They is a pin at the case for controlling the S View features.

NO need ; just clip it in and it auto works. A lot and MOST of those cap ayam brands will not work like the original S View casing as they lack the 2 connectors in back case. Some of these supposedly S View alike casing you just clip it on top of existing back case without removing it - this type 100% will not work

- the holder of the phone was Hard case..i worry after sometime the hard case will peel off the chrome area..
- No S View Function..

you cannot have the scrren off when with S-view?

The screen is auto off after a while, but cannot set timing, the auto lock time out at setting is normal lock screen timing not the S View screen off timing.
