Guys, wanna share with you all some of my battery drainage this few days. Last 2 days my battery suddenly depleted very fast, almost 10% in an hour. After installing bbs and I found out in my partial kernel wakelocks, nlpcollector consume most of my battery and cause my phone awake time double of my deep sleep time.

Upon Google abt it and I found out Google location service is the culprit. Since I didn't use Google now, I disable Google location access from Google Now setting and location service in phone setting. Now my battery life is rock solid. Phone is really in deep sleep when it is not in use.

So for those who face battery draining issue, maybe you all can look into it.

I have purchased it last week as they provide free shipment to Malaysia but it's still under pre order and will only ship after 3 weeks time.

Battery wise is more or less the same as fb..but ui and customization is higher than official fb..plus you can sync high quality contact pic to phone book

It's limited by the phone itself. Nothing we can do or change abt it unless developers can do something abt it

Yes, I agree. In some occasion (under bright light condition), my Note 3 camera out performed my Sony NEX-5 which I really happy to use as my main daily shooter

Yesterday went to have Japanese food and use the Note 3 to snap some food picture. The outcome is very nice and I will post it later at night as I'm working n ow.

Depending on lighting. Under indoor lightning it should be ok to disable it but under no light or low light condition, the difference is very much noticeable

Yup, first time I never bother to compare stock player with other 3rd party player like poweramp.

I'm also waiting for more ROM and mod to be available before rooting the Note 3 Which ROM or mod you are targetting? AOSP again?

Btw, do you use the media utilities widget before? Somehow I can't seems to setup it with stock player

You sure previous one has? I paired my Note 10.1 to my car audio before but it doesn't show the track info. Later I'm gonna retry again.

I have never like AOSP. Still waiting for some better ROM with support of Xpose framework. They already has the mod to enable all apps for multiwindow and pen window. I think I might root it in a month time.

Anyone else manage to setup media utilities widget with stock player? I don't like how it looks on Nova due to my custom grid size.

Basically this is a framework that allow you to mod and customize your ROM yourself without flashing any custom ROM. You can mod a lot of things, it's something like the UOT kitchen of the olden days but this you can do it on the go.

Anyone is using Next browser? It is very smooth on my Note 10.1 and HOX but it seems to shutter quite often in Note 3

White is more like soft plastic, not as rubbery sticky as black one, so technically it won't attract smudges but if you have sweaty or dirty palms, then better be careful. I'm using it with a transparent pudding case while waiting for my Orange S view cover and UAG to be delivered.

Maybe you can ask Andrewtst, he is also using white with white S view cover

Just wanna share with some who doesn't know. I'm using Screen Off and Lock to turn off the screen without using the power button.

The good thing is by using Nova (you may use other launcher), I enable the swipe gesture on the dock icon to this Screen Off. And best part is this app enable you have the old tv turn off animation in GB

I got the same message too, but out of a sudden, it downloaded itself now. Maybe you can try again

Nothing to do with battery, it's basically due to the heavy traffic. My battery was 22% when the OTA was downloading in the background and I install the update with battery at 20%.

I can't really confirm on the animation part as I use Nova all this while and the transition is very smooth previously. But one thing for sure, as what Andrewtst mentioned, available free RAM is definitely higher

Chrome will not be supporting flash. You may still be able to play flash content like YouTube plugin provided it is HTML5 enabled
