QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 6 2013, 12:29 PM) I just had my brunch, mum cooked nasi lemak and forgot to snap photos. I was surprised by the progress too. Very fast. This will be a new hangout place for PD folks who come back on weekends. |

QUOTE(jychow @ Oct 6 2013, 03:18 PM) Hi, been following this thread. Too fast I think not every apps able to do that. I've not been able to activate the one hand operation mode. The one with shrunk window. I've watched a few YouTube tutorials and followed exactly but to no avail. Can you share your experience? When you enable it from settings control. Then swipe from the left to middle of screen then back to the left. Its quite straight forward step which as shown in the tutorial when you enable it. Need a few try thought |

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Oct 6 2013, 07:11 PM) I find Next browser quite laggy on N3. Chrome Beta is not bad. Anybody using any other fast browser? Fastest now should be Dolphin. No other can match Dolphin. Only downside is you need to close by exit app everytime if not it will keep running on background. This post has been edited by Reventon: Oct 6 2013, 07:19 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 6 2013, 07:28 PM) I'm using Boat browser now. Pretty satisfied with it. Boat browser good at few convenient things like speed dial menu , bottom tool bar can access to setting , switch windows , refresh and some gestures. Others need at least 3 click above to get same results.I wanna try Dolphin as well, pretty used to close browser after I'm done surfing. hope next update they make it smooth like before. |

QUOTE(shockk @ Oct 9 2013, 04:35 PM) More than 2 weeks of using Note III already. I have to say, it's the BEST Android phone ever. I also use spen alot mostly scrapbooking and enter pen windows now. During note 2 era I think I use less than 10 times on a 12 months duration for 7100 and 7105 combined. The S-Pen now is truly amazing. I actually LOVE taking 'notes' or just doodling on it now. Fantastic device! It writes even somewhat better than a rollerball pen on my paper notebook. Only thing it can't rival is my fountain pen. And it's been like 1 week since I got the S View cover case. Best case, ever. I have not touched neither the power button nor the home button ever since then. And it's just perfect for that quick glance at a message. Looking forward to 1 year of using this Note III, and then it's Note IV. Btw you sure you can stick with Note3 for 12 months |

QUOTE(vinnilaa @ Oct 9 2013, 04:58 PM) In regards to the purple smeared stain on my screen, the stain was spreading wider within a day. I brought it to Samsung Service Centre in One Utama and upon checking the technician said that the LED is cracked inside. I didn't see any visible crack on the screen and I don't think it is caused by any fall. Apparently, if I leave it, the stain will spread and eventually the screen will go dead. According to the them, I must have pressed the screen hard till the LED cracked inside Huh ? This is seriously crazy. Should argue till the end to get it replaced foc if there is no cosmetic damage. They also no proof its human error right ?Since the screen is not under warranty, I have to fork out my own money RM680 to pay for the damage... I tried to argue it doesn't make sense for a new device to be so flimsy and as a user of Note 1, Note 2, Tab 7.7 and Note 10.1, I know the quality is not that bad. But, they can't do anything. I had no choice but to agree to change the screen using my own money. The device can be collected after 3 hours. So, I will be going back to collect my device later. Anyway, advice to all who prefer to use the phone naked, please spend a bit of money to buy a case such as otterbox. As for me, I am going to sew a pouch with thick sponge to protect my phone... |
