QUOTE(thelightside @ Oct 11 2013, 12:52 AM) guys I notice this video got some sort of blinking led, its near the top right side next to our earpiece speaker, I never notice mine blink, instead I have led light on the right side which lights up red when charging, I never see mine blink like in the video izit because its america version ah? Try to make a miss call to your Note 3, then you will see the LED will blink in blue color. It definitely will blink unless you have a defect unit

QUOTE(thelightside @ Oct 11 2013, 01:02 AM) just tried it I do see it blue blink on the top left side of my phone not like the top right side as shown in the video? any ideas maybe diff variant? maybe just reflection Oh sorry, didn't notice you are referring to the right instead of left. The right side is the proximity and light sensors. My guess is the lighting of the room that make us see it is "blinking". Mine doesn't blink and it shouldn't. Not to worry, your phone is fine

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Oct 11 2013, 08:08 AM) From HongKong? No wonder shipping is cheap. Bro, interested to get it? I'm thinking to get it as well as I afraid SGP glass sp can't fit well with UAG casing. Plus it is cheaper than SGP

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Oct 11 2013, 09:09 AM) BTW sakurazz also selling glass SP @ RM45.00. PM him but he cannot tell me the thickness. If thickness is an issue better go for Brando. If not mistaken he is not selling neither Brando nor SGP right?

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 11 2013, 11:15 AM) The screen is auto off after a while, but cannot set timing, the auto lock time out at setting is normal lock screen timing not the S View screen off timing. Bro..wanna ask, did you notice that the phone data will only connect when you open the flip upon using the S View? One former post abt it few days back. I notice mine behave such upon using the S View...weird

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 11 2013, 11:33 AM) If such thing were to happen, than it defeats the purpose of using it ?? My phone still continue to issue whatsapp alert, email notifications n auto mail downloads, FB and Tweeter alerts etc even with the flipcase closed and display is off Exactly. Mine does happened but not every time. I still can't find what is the cos of it. At times it will cut off my data but at times my notification for fb n whatsapp still come through when my display is off..that's why I said is weird

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 11 2013, 11:39 AM) Try to reattach the battery again as probably is a loose connection ? Thx for the suggestion uncle Jenny but I don't think that's the cause. I'm still monitoring what caused such behavior and try to dig the setting see if I can get any result. QUOTE(Cynox @ Oct 11 2013, 12:06 PM) Just shot an email to Superbuy to ask about my S-View cover and battery kit. Its shipment date has now been delay to end of month. Thinking of asking for refund. I have already email them to cancel my order on the S view as it is taking too long of the time where other retailer has stock long ago. It will take 7 to 14 working days for the refund process to be completed

QUOTE(pobox @ Oct 11 2013, 12:28 PM) I'm still facing heat-up problem after the system update. Whenever I use Google Navi, Waze, Candy Crush & Clash of Clan, my phone temperature will go up. Any advice? Using GPS and navigation and playing playing games will definitely heat up the phone as these are quite taxing to the processor. However in order to know if your heat is normal or not you gotta tell us your temperature. Else just saying heat up we won't know if your phone is overheated or normal.

QUOTE(craziechild @ Oct 11 2013, 02:17 PM) Now that's not a good sign... I use navigation system with music a lot... can't stand the silence and it's annoying missing junctions... QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 11 2013, 02:20 PM) Wait for next firmware, I believe soon or later Samsung will notice this issue. Is your bluetooth device comes with stereo audio? I paired my Note 3 with my car built in audio system and Jabra Street, music and navigation all audio are ok. Just that in my car audio system, notification sound won't go through the car speaker but for Jabra, the notification will go through both phone speaker and Jabra headset. Navigation will only work with A2DP bluetooth

QUOTE(pobox @ Oct 11 2013, 03:39 PM) Phone in idle mode: System Temp: 25.5C (77.8F) Battery Temp: 28.8C (83.8F) Let Candy Crush run for 30 miniutes: System Temp: 26.7C (80.1F) Battery Temp: 37.3C (99.1F) ^^Normal? Very very normal. During idle not using it is quite good to be honest. And playing candy crush for 30min with screen constantly on and still below 38 degree is very good. I use Sygic navigation for an hour under the hot sun and my phone spike up to about 40+ degree.

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Oct 11 2013, 04:35 PM) The measurements is definitely inaccurate. Average temperature for electronics under utilisation is usually in the range between 40 - 50 degC. Even room temperature is 25 on the outside environment how can internally be cooler than that. Besides, Malaysia is usually in the range of 28 to 32 degC. I only commented based on the readings provided. But if the phone is idle in an a/c environment, my phone usually show temperature not higher than 30 degree. Sorry that I'm not an expert in this, but based on my past experience and readings from those system monitoring apps I installed, those are the readings I got. But I do agree in outdoor, very hardly my phone will stay below 35 degree.

QUOTE(jason111785 @ Oct 11 2013, 05:05 PM) my battery performance getting worst and worst.. not sure what happen.. screen timr 2 hrs 34 mins (device on batt time 8h 32m) and i am left with 38%. Please install better battery stat and post us your wakelock reading, else very hard for us to discuss if your battery drainage is normal or not. My battery is working very well. Has been on battery for 12h45m with screen on time of 1h45m and I still have 70% battery left. Data on 24/7 with constant background sync for many accounts.

QUOTE(jason111785 @ Oct 11 2013, 05:45 PM) Here's my wakelock detector.. I would suggest you to charge your battery, then let the phone to be in idle for few hours so that the app can collect data from your phone. From there then we can analyze.
