QUOTE(winter01942 @ Oct 7 2013, 08:37 AM) not many apps installed, it still happens when i restart the phone and lock it ... If your card can support it try reformat to exfat format as Note 1 supports only fat32 format.well that i have tried, but i will consider reformatting as the card is brought over from an old Samsung Note (1st Gen) you can copy a more than 4GB with exfat format. |

Just academic to me onlyAnd all these talk about phone must be cool to get such scores I find doubtful. I achieved such scores after using phone nearly an hour n no need to cool down lah!! |

QUOTE(shahruls @ Oct 8 2013, 11:36 AM) Superbuy told me they will received s view cover stock this week but still not confirmed. I will use it naked, hopefully nothing happen. Rooting Note 3 isn way much easier than Nexus. If I score a difficulty level of 8 for Nexus, The Note 3 will score only a mere 2. I am very familiar too rooting Nexus using toolkit or using adb commands and I have rooted all the Nexus series - phones and tablets tooI never use helium backup, always titanium backup with my nexus. For note 3 i will use helium . Rooting process in note series look more complicated compare to nexus. |

QUOTE(CnY Garage @ Oct 8 2013, 12:41 PM) Only sand particles can scratch your phoneNormal metallic stuffs eg coins, keys will not. I even tested dragging lightly a scissor, screwdriver n pen blade across display n it turns out well. My chance of display scratch is near zero as it is always protected by flip case cover. In fact I will try as far as possible not to use SP n my gadgets has always been scratch free. Only the Xperia range I put SP due to anti shatter film is not scratch proof. |

Downloaded from Sammobile latest M'sian firmware N9005XXUBMJ1_N9005OLBBMI3 and use Odin 1.87 in PC and successfully flashed it. Whole process took about 1 + mins to complete
I have reported earlier flashing the Spore non telco version failed ( tried 3 times ). Probably we cannot flash another region official firmware unlike previous Galaxy series ?? All data remain intact but lost root n CWM System Status and Current Binary back to OFFICIAL but Knox Warranty remains 0X1 |

I tried to root the latest M'sian firmware with Chainfire CF Root but stuck at Cache stage in ODin and afterI removed the USB cable faced the dreaded PC_Phone firmware error and advised to use KIES REcovery mode to restore firmware
I did not do that but instead went back to download mode and reflash the latest M'sian firmware - phone is now OK Getting late now, will try again tomorrow to reroot and have CWM re installed |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 9 2013, 09:30 AM) Uncle Benny..did you do Nandroid on the last MI7 firmware. ? Yes I did a successful nandroid backup. Is is possible to restore that Nandroid..? Sorry for many question as I've yet to root my phone. Thanks Refer to chenglu thread post #1 he did give an important tip before doing a restore. If not you won't get a successful restore. I didn't try it anyway. Many user miss this tip causing a fail restore |
