opps... din know that.. just tried. In Silent mode really no shutter sound. Previously in Note II i think even in Silent mode also will have some sound unless for rooted phone with custom rom.

I believe most Samsung phone can turn off shutter sound if in silent mode. It's the same to my Note 10.1 and my sis's S3

So what is the best case for the Note 3 atm? Mine's still without case and I don't feel safe with it

S1, S2 & S3 no shutter sound when put in silent or vibrate mode. All Samsung droids is like that.

I only found that the Galaxy Gear cannot turn off shutter sound even when the Galaxy Gear is put in silent mode. Think they want to prevent ppl from taking upskirt photos

Superbuy told me they will received s view cover stock this week but still not confirmed. I will use it naked,hopefully nothing happen.
I never use helium backup, always titanium backup with my nexus. For note 3 i will use helium . Rooting process in note series look more complicated compare to nexus.

I'm using a transparent Remax pudding casing while waiting for my S View cover to be delivered by Superbuy. Most of the shop already have this tpu or transparent casing for Note 3.

Rooting Note 3 isn way much easier than Nexus. If I score a difficulty level of 8 for Nexus, The Note 3 will score only a mere 2. I am very familiar too rooting Nexus using toolkit or using adb commands and I have rooted all the Nexus series - phones and tablets too
