Hi,

I'm currently in the US and thinking of buying the 360 premium package. Price is USD399. If I were to buy it here, what problems will I face when I bring it back to Malaysia? Any additional things that I need to buy to make it work in Malaysia?

Thanks. All comments and advise greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you buy them when you're back here instead. Over here the console is around RM1500 while the games is around RM155 only compared to RM200+ over there. If you decide to bring back the console from the States, you'll need to get a stepdown converter for it to work over here and that'll cost you around RM130+. If you get an NTSC/UC console, it can only play games with similar region code or region free games.

2 - 3 years by then maybe there are 2 - 3 new models out and that 360 would be outdated

Yeah, if he's staying there for a few more years then by all means get the console there. Somehow I kinda got the impression that he's coming back this Summer laugh.gif

bro dhil_c, if you're gonna be staying in the states for at least a year, get it there better then sell it off when you're coming back to m'sia...n buy the asian set when you're here...

if you're on a holiday, or completing your studies or whatever that will get you back here in Malaysia at the earliest within a month or so, better get it here as the asian set here are affordable (RM 1480 from Djinn) and games will cost you a max of rm 170...thats it...
