Ok friends, i have got android working fine on Venue 8 pro. Since genymotion supports openGL you can even play 3D games smoothly. Below are some screenshots of android (genymotion) running on Dell venue 8 pro:
![]() ![]() Download Genymotion (Get Nexus 7 rom with android 4.2.x as it is stable) and install it on your Venue 8 Pro. It is free for personal use. Once all set, goto Virtualbox and change the RAM from 1024 to 768. It is sufficient to run android smoothly. Better to have a mouse and keyboard attached. Noticed multi touch doesnt seem to be supported now, will check if there is any workaround for android to support multitouch running on virtualization. I will try to make a video soon and post in on my blog. For now this was just a quick try. I will also explore more android versions or boot methods soon. for now i really love the Dell Venue 8 Pro!
