KitKat is 4.4 or 5.0..?
It gonna be the last official upgrade for S3...after than carry on with CM custom ROM.

4.3 is still JB lar..not KitKat.
Note3 and Nexus already use 4.3 and it show Jellybean.

4.1..4.2..4.3 all Jellybean firmware. Consider it as updates not OS upgrades. S3 and Note2 even skip 4.2 and go straight to 4.3.

Just notice the big different price between S3 and older S2
S3 = RM1088

Maybe the battery itself got problem. If you have any spare battery...try charge it and see if got any problem.
