For me battery consumption consider ok. But do you hv unlock delay issue? Im getting frustrating and frustrating for this!  Now even coming call also delay. Means call coming, ringing but the screen need to wait few sec to wake up!

Arggg goin to flash back 4.2 and wait for this issue solve. sad.gif

i have been using stock 4.3 for 2 days, so far unlock is not as responsive as 4.1.2 maybe the ripple effect. Another problem will be the stupid keyboard. The rest so far so good..

keyboard seems to be fine on my side when i was using it but ive switched back to swiftkey 4.3. the latest update is awesome xD
it seems the lockscreen portion of the rom still not finalized, the light effect lockscreen still not implemented

hrmm how if i want to flash a new kernel? like yank
do i need to wipe anything?  or just flash it?
*
just flash it and wipe cache/dalvik is enough. i didnt wipe tho, every thing seems good so far. battery drain no so severe d, most important is that no more delay waking up the device

Not to mention, SGS3 will be more than 18 months old by the time they release the update, hence we may not be getting it after all.
This is the case for Samsung Galaxy Nexus, not that it is unable to support 4.4 Kitkat, but because it is more than 18 months old, Samsung (or Google?) decides not to update the phone any longer.

dont so fast feel disocuraged yet. for gnex case is that the CPU manufacturer no longer in the business of mobile CPu production. nobody to support the new drivers and troubleshoot for it. google around and you should see this news.

for s3 case, the only excuse samsung can give is they dont wanna upgrade on purpose, other than that they dont have reason. the hardware supports kitkat, they have the source code and driver supports for exynos chips and kitkat came out before s3 became 18 months old
