Wonder how much for s3 sudden death repair? Mine just died and it's out of warranty. Will it die again after repair? Has samsung fully rectify this issue or just never bother?

Warranty over a few months. What to do? If repair is expensive, i might as well buy a new phone n no more fear of sudden death issue again. Wondering wondering
