Guys. Want to ask something. My power button got problem. Somehow it shorted ? Meaning i need to press it repetitively then my phone can turn on. Else it stuck in bootloop.
Not just stuck in bootloop problem. I can't access RECOVERY MODE nor DOWNLOAD MODE because my power button got problem. It keeps making my phone restart for like infinity times.
I even pulled out batt for whole night and next day try put in back. But still same problem occurred. If got luck then it will manage to enter DOWNLOAD MODE for ONE time only. Then back to bootloop.
Went to Samsung for quotation. Have to replace motherboard because my power button comes together with the motherboard. DAYUMMMMM.....
So what i want to know is that. Does Samsung gives u 1 year warranty coverage for motherboard after done replacement..??
I got quote RM648.30 for the motherboard.
Kindly advice. =)

QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Nov 26 2013, 10:03 AM) Don't know how bad is your damage cause what i understand our power, volume and home button is independent one. not independent wan ahh.. the power button is soldered on the motherboard. I request my old motherboard returned back to me. I just changed new motherboard today. Heck care shit d. LOL. Now i won't be changing any phone soon for another 2 years at least. S3 still can work like a horse. No urge to change yet. i can snap the photo of the motherboard but google also can find. Where u guys get the extended battery ?? Seems pretty good. 3000mah over 2100mah

QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Nov 27 2013, 10:04 AM) maybe i am wrong, cause in ebay and amazon people is selling power, vol and home button separately. Check out below maybe http://www.amazon.com/ePartSolution-Samsun...t/dp/B00C8AY7BSoh.. mine not this. mine is not the power button on the casing wan. mine is the direct powerswitch soldered onto the motherboard. After i change, then my friend told me he got a shop, his good friend's shop got fix the switch alone. But fixing this small switch also he told me estimate around 100+. dayumm. But i will see how. Maybe if i can get back my data in my old motherboard, i'd consider find the rest of the spareparts and then put it inside a phone and sell it. not sure how. will see how. not so soon tho. just break the bank for the new motherboard.
