Trivia, long ago s2, when leak 4.1 released, it has frozen lock screen issue. More serious than s3 delayed lock screen.
The symptom is press power to wake, lock screen not responsive at all. Need lock and unlock again only can swipe to unlock. Jeebo kernel fix it about a month later.

Cm10.2 is buggy.
Only cm fanboys and those roms addict willing to flash it.

Are you using aosp browser?
It is well known aosp browser is way smoother than chrome.
But in 4.3 scrolling is so laggy, even worst than chrome.

True about the price and screen size of the iPhone.

That's why I got an ipad. The consistent smoothness, beautiful awesome screen and supreme battery life really blew me away. It's miles ahead of any nexus tablet or any android tablet. Those hard core android fanboys will say ios is restricted, tied down to iTunes etc, clearly knows nothing about jailbreak. There are ways to sideload apps and do files transfer without iTunes.

There really isn't a fastest rom.

They are very similar to each other in terms of performance and battery life. No rom is faster than another rom by a large margin.

Samsung ROMs, you get all the stock features. All hardware works. With lots of additional customization. FYI, hdmi out don't and never work on aosp ROMs.

Aosp ROMs looks more elegant, and refreshing if you are bored with Samsung ones. They offer lots of features. But they are usually not bug free, especially if u are using the latest android version that is still under development. They are the most stable at the end of development.

I'm an aosp rom person. But I can see they are getting worst. 4.3 aosp ROMs imo are less stable than 4.2. Now that 4.4 is announced, most devs are going to just slap a 'stable' tag on their last nightly and proceed to develop for 4.4. No matter how people argue that 4.3 Is stable, 4.2 has even less issue.

Aww man, waiting for the new Google hangouts to release. I wan the version that has sms function. The leak one from nexus 5 will break hangout video call function.

By the way SwiftKey have new version which changes the symbols page layout. Terrible choice, Luckily I can restore with titanium backup.
