Using whatsapp, hangouts, fb chat already.

Nobody in my contact SMS anymore.

I'm currently using Slimbean 4.2
With the kitkat theme. Very satisfied.
The usual stable rom with least bugs compared to 4.3 and 4.4,
And the nice transparent status and nav bar.

gone back to 4.3 after 2 days of 4.4 temasek v2, too many things not ready yet, no nav bar control, camera function limited, app incompatibility, quick setting panel options limited, unable to remove shortcut bar from notification panel, lock screen no ring target for apps, audio stuttering etc

That is why I already ordered my Nexus 5, no more Samsung flagship phone for me. Been support Samsung from Galaxy S, SII and SIII and believe that they could really evolve to be a strong software oriented company, to be the fastest phone that get Android OS update, to be the most responsiveness Android phone ever but Samsung keep on disappoint me so I decide to jump ship.

By the way, do you guys notice that the new gallery (in 4.3) usually took 3-4 seconds to open up? What a crap software...

I ordered 32GB, storage wise should be ok according to my daily usage (music, photos & videos, games and movies) and most of them can be store on the cloud nows a day.

32 gb is ok for me. But the battery life cnt accept la.

I also using the 3000 mah battery. Gotten used to phone that cn last 15+ hours a day with more than 5 hour sot even on very heavy use.

Sorry..noob questions here..whats the difference between temasek and cm? And why is it unofficial? According to a youtube video., this 4.4 by temasek seems promising.

Mine also white s3 but I bought the blue cover. It looks really silly without case.

But with case you can't tell the difference at all. So I never bother it anymore.

This battery is definitely worth it.
Last time always use phone sked sked no battery. Now no need to worry at all. It's like note 2 battery life.

Today rarely use my phone. Already after dinner still have 50%

Guys, what is the most stable 4.3 custom rom for S3? Heard that wanamlite has battery-draining problem and slow unlock response. How about Omega rom or others?

It's stable and very consistently smooth.

Gives me confidence for 4.4
Wana try out other available options see how good they are.

With cwm backup, there is no harm at all.
I have the free time so why not? Easily restorable

why you wish for 4.3?
temasek 4.4 in its current state i feel its better than any 4.3 aosp rom previously.

past few months i try various 4.3 feel its not consistently smooth.
4.4 is great in the sense that its consistently smooth, and have lots of ram.

more apps are able to be kept in the ram, leading almost instantaneous launch.
you'll feel its more smooth and less loading time.

Wait till you try 4.4 + art

Do you guys installed wechat on 4.4? does it has cracky sound like temasek 4.3?

last time you guys saying 4.3 better than 4.2 (in reality no noticeable difference for end user also)

now 4.4 do have quite a few noticeable difference than 4.3. and you say not much difference 

new things i notice in 4.4
~after screenshot, there is an extra 'trash' button for deleting it in notification. (touch wiz has this, but first time for aosp) -I hardly delete my screen shot

~no longer lag in aosp browser and camera, 4.4 camera has the slickest transition animation of all time
-I hardly use default camera apps, using "camera jb" apps

~photosphere rendering is much faster, finish stitching early by 20 seconds or more.
-I doesn't use photosphere

~much more apps are kept in ram, just go to settings>apps>running> in cache, have a long list, faster loading time
-didn't notice the different when doing multi tasking like gaming+fb+whatsapp and etc..

~nice transparency effect, slimbean has transparent status&nav bar, but it instantly blink to black, but in 4.4 it slowly fade to black when leave home screen

~kitkat white theme is quite refreshing. but of course you can install themes in 4.3 as well, but the theme is not complete in lockscreen

~temasek implement non intrusive in coming call screen, which is cool, not present in 4.3

Bro...the known issues that listed as below in Temasek thread still valid from your observation?
- Lockscreen sound distorts music playing. Turn lockscreen sound as a workaround.
- Camera not fully stable
- Lockscreen shorcuts may cause FC to minority users.

art is theoretically and practically proven faster than dalvic.
check in youtube for speed comparison. it is indeed slightly faster at loading stuff.

but the fact that not all apps works with it render it unpractical for me.
i dont feel a fraction of smoothness or slight increase in battery life is worth sacrificing app compatibility
